Black diamond is pretty good with this because it's a stiffer line and with the 20 inch cutting swath it doesn't deflect like other lines I've used. The sharp edges wear down but I can still walk through some pretty thick stuff.
Hi. You seem to have a very good technique. Would you mind describing it? Perhaps you are cutting faster when moving from left to right? Or maybe you are moving forward more when cutting from right to left?
With the left sweep, you take more 'bite' from the grass because the material is thrown away to the side, with the right sweep, you take a little less bite, you see how the front row just folds then the left sweep clears everything. Its like the right sweep weakens the enemy in preparation for the devastating full attack of the left sweep! With my smaller engine echo trimmer the left guard corner is rounded and the manual advises tilting the head into the cut, this helps keep engine speed up as the line opposite the cutting side isn't dragging. Hope that makes sense and is helpful. As with all things in life practice makes perfect!

How do you pick up the grass trimmings on a job that size ?
Jak z częściami zamiennymi drogie są?
