As a German I had to smile when he mentioned his cartoons being popular here, because from 3rd grade on, everyone would quote asdf movie. Every single kid had seen the German asdf movie dub and most of us still quote it to this day (11th grade). Much love from Germany, Tom

Tomska is proof that people can evolve and become a better person as a result of learning from mistakes. He also takes nothing for granted and makes the most of what he has, not just with content but with fans too. Back in the day he made a sex ed video that back fired on him (was all made in good faith) and he took the death of his friend Ed very hard, shutting people out in the process. Tom’s words on influencer misconduct are so wise, I’m glad he’s spoken so openly about it. I watched many of the creators who were ousted, and I remember how difficult it was to process at the time. As much as I’m glad we don’t speak about those names now, I fear that this means the lessons learned from those moments will not carry through to the next generation of young male influencers. Ive got an explanation for Tom on why asdfmovie is so popular in germany. The videos really gained traction, when they were dubbed into german by 3dudelsack3 (3bagpipes3 lul) aka. Davis Schulz. What i believe also mightve helped is that the prevalent kind of humor in CZcams Germany at that time was quite similar to that of the asdfmovies. Hope that explained it a litte bit.

When I watched ASDF movie for the first time, it was the best thing I’d ever had seen and I said to myself “This is what I want to do” ever since I have been film making for 3 years. I’m still a rookie at it, I have gotten better over time. The day I met Tom was honestly the best day of my life. This man is my hero.

To be honest, I kind of feel the same way when I was making content here on CZcams, especially when I knew that making videos on CZcams is extremely difficult and I get it. I always feel some kind of burnout when I tried to think of an idea, but then forgot it in the last second when making a script for an upcoming project. However, I of course refused to give up, and start continuing to make stuffs that I personally loved making it, and I of course have so many people like most of my friends, even Tom, inspired me to make stuffs and have unique ideas.
And to Tomska, ever since when I first watched your videos back in the golden days of CZcams, most of your videos, including the asdfmovie series that you've made, are always enjoyable to watch, and of the comedies from those videos made me and everybody else laugh to this very day. You are one of these people that have inspired me to start my own channel on CZcams, and made me feel motivated with some ideas that I might have. You are indeed a legend Tom! 💖💜

I've watched Tomska since about 2008, sadly never met him as I never go to conventions, but it's good to see him.

this man knows pain, doesnt go on about it. lets us know in the subtle way that makes you care. he makes you think about yourself. all at the same time producing the most childish humour we all know and love. People are complicated.

Great insight all around, especially on the notion of creators doing the same thing!
I've seen numerous CZcamsrs and TikTokers pop up as something fresh and exciting, but they keep making the same content in attempt to maintain their success. Viewers eventually get bored and drop out. You've gotta be willing to experiment and grow - which is why we're still talking about TomSka these years later. He didn't put all his cards in the same place.

Always loved Tom's content both on his main channel and DarkSquidge. His honesty about CZcams is always refreshing and I love that he doesn't bullshit. I think it says something that he expects to become irrelevant and yet his audience always comes back. It's because we recognise that he's genuine and we want him to keep producing content that he enjoys until it's time to call it a day
