Makdee was the first horror movie which i watched. This movie has seprate place between early 2k kids. I remember watching this movie in our old dvd and kasam se bohut darr lagta tha :(. Early 2k kids like me iss movie ko kabhi bhool nahi sakte💀. Full Nostalgia 🥲💓🌸

I was 15 when I watched *Makdee* on *DD1.* And needless to say, I loved the way the film was made and of course the performances were superb, especially Shweta as the twin sisters.
One of the movie deep inside of my mind , I recognise now we are getting older . These are some movies which describes a period of our childhood . And happy to know she got best child actress award , really deserving , again the one handing it to her was kalam sir ,really some lucky person on earth.
This movie gave a different level nostalgia

Ultimate cult movie of many 90's and early 2000's kids. If today's generation want to ask its impact ask you elder most cousin brother or sister he or she may tell you. Truly a gem. I still remember its rage when it was released almost all kids used to sing that song 'ae papad wale panga na le'. Those were the days. 😂 also the lead actress shweta is in the tashkent files too. This was the turning point for so many millennials. Back then I watched this movie in utter horror and this revisit was really a road down the memory lane. Loved it ❤
PS: The twist was better than anything written nowadays
I am a 21st century Gen Z too and watched it on TV. Couldn't get the swing scene out of my mind.
Me and my brother started watching this on DD and were so scared that asked my mom to switch it off halfway. She said "if you won't finish it today, you'll be scared forever."
So we did finish. Scared shitless at 2 at night. But that's how our love for horror movies started. 20 years later its still one of our favourites and an amazing memory.

That plot twist was one of the best ever. This movie is quite literally one of the best family movies.

Dude, I was so terrified of this movie when I was a kid. Looking at it now, I don't get why I was so terrified of it. I used to cry because of it.
I remember watching this movie by myself as a kid and really loving it. Definitely a cult classic! Also, I didn't know that the actress in India Lockdown is her! She's very good!
