I love that song! I heard Andy Williams sing it at one his concerts in Nashville in 1963. That’s when I got my first baritone uke. This was a really fun tutorial. I’m learning it on my old uke that still sounds good even after 57 years.

love it Abigail. I am learning to play and find your way of teaching very helpful! I will be 65 this year and remember so well my Grandmother playing the Uke ever so beautifully. It is a dream to just now being able to do chord progressions and It makes me ever so happy just to strum the chords. I am hopeful and having so much fun!

FINALLY. Someone who play baritone just like me. I saw ur video months ago. You were trying to teach some chords progression on a Lanikai Baritone ukulele.

Abigail, it a real pleasure to watch your tutorials covering the Baritone Ukulele. Both theory videos and song tutorials of the classics are second to none. I've been learning a lot from them. Thank you very much and keep doing this excellent work!

Hi Abigail! I just wanted to say I'm so glad I found you. You're videos are really inspirational. I love singing jazz and I bought a baritone ukulele. I was teaching myself guitar for a while but wasn't getting far. Luckily the strength in my hand has meant I'm moving between advanced baritone uke chords pretty easily and I'm pretty chuffed with myself and pumped to learn more from your tutorials as they are right up my alley! I just finsihed learning All of me and am happily singing the song from start to finish all by heart :) I'll sign up to your patreon tomorrow morning (had some trouble figuring it out tonight). Thank you for existing!! Love & Light to you. Erin

Abigail - nice rendition of a classic. And as for those embellishments? That changes things for me and really makes it quite challenging for me and my cauliflower hands and fingers. Thank you, yet again.

Enjoyed this tutorial as you started with a basic version then adjusted. I end up with alterations all over my notes, which would be easier if I then made a clean copy. I enjoy your demos with the gentle rhythm, as they suit the 1930's to 1950's musical style. I try to watch your Saturday tea time seasons with the proper bass. I prefer your Baritone tutorials even though I struggle with some of the chords up the neck. I broke the top joint on my left ring finger, when I played rugby as a teenager, and it doesn't always go in the right place.

Wahooooo! An easier version of one of my favorite songs. (When I think of this song I'm reminded of Andy Williams). I will work on spicing it up. Thanks for this. Would love to post this on the FaceBook Baritone ukulele group page, but I don't know how...... I be back Saturday for another great concert!

    Hi Abigail,
Thank you for your brilliant channel and your tutorials for us budding Baritone and Uke players.
Regarding this song Moon River, you mention that you normally sing it in a different key.
I have watched the link you mentioned and would like to know if you can put out a tutorial with the Barre chords you are playing in the other link?
    You are a LEGEND❤️
Hoping to hear from you soon.

Thank you so much for watching! Ahh, I wish I did… right now all I have is an arrangement for purchase through MusicNotes.com. However, it’s for vocal trio and ukulele. I’ve been really busy (thankfully) most of the last year and haven’t had time to put out tutorials… Hoping to get back to it soon! However, if you would be interested in purchasing the arrangement with chord diagrams for the barre chord version (I think it’s only like $3 or so) I could publish it to MusicNotes. I totally understand if not, but let me know if you’d like me to do that! Thanks so much for watching.

Great key for me :) although I do still struggle with it... I never had a great range but age & lack of training over the years have really brought my voice down to a narrow range. Do you have any recommendations for enjoyable jazz songs for someone with a limited range? I'm really down to an Octave & a half at best these days :( Don't like to torture the neighbours too much 😄

I bought a baritone today so I love these tutorials! Do you know of a website where I can get songs with chords for baritone ukes? I can only seem to find standard uke chords.

Thanks so much! Welcome to the baritone club 😊😊 I’m not sure about a website, but there is a Facebook group called Baritone Ukulele: Beginners & Beyond that could be a good resource! I also have some resources on my Patreon (Patreon.com/abigailflowersmusic) but it depends on what types of songs you’re most interested in learning! Thanks so much for watching this one!

Wish I could slow the video down; I'm finding it complicated to keep up. I'll see if can try to learn the chords in parts before attempting the whole song all the way thru.

Hey there! If you click the gear icon on the video, there will be an option called “playback speed” and you can slow it down that way! Should work on both mobile and desktop. Hope that works for you! Thank you for watching.
