I'm an American and have studied alot about Iran the Pahlivi family and I can tell that both the prince and the king were very honorable men! When the revolution came his father refused to result to violence to stop these terrorists. He saw them as fellow countrymen and refused to kill his own people and chose to leave in exile. I can't say that was a wise decision but he did what he thought was right.

Most of what he is saying makes sense. I have no idea about the background or past of this man, but his words alone, taken at face value, speak of a desire for secularity, human rights for all and democracy. Those aren't bad fundaments for a peaceful and prosperous country.

Thank you for having a pluralistic view and giving a tribune to the person whom many Iranians trust. He represents many Iranians; at least two of those hanged by the Islamic republic (like Majid Reza Rahnavard) were monarchists. A significant number of people who were arrested were monarchists too.

A thoughtful and realistic man who has looked at this dilemma from every angle. Iran has enough to sift through in order find a working solution from within with minimal damage, and certainly doesn’t need outside interference from other cultures and countries that deem themselves “Democratic nations”!
