Banks is literally one of only a small few of artists I've seen in many years that has the ability to really stir up emotions with her music...you can just feel everything. There's a lot of energy in her music and videos, and she definitively has created her own brand of music we all can't get enough of. We are all barraged by top 40 BS and pop music that all sounds cliche and commercial. She never fit into that mold, and I'm glad for it. Props to you Banks for being so unique with your music. I honestly think that Banks has her own genre of music, the way she combines R&B with Electronic is SOOOOOOO unique
Edit: I listen to other artists both more and less popular than Banks that combine these genres (dark, atmospheric R&B with Electronic is one of my favorite genre mixes), but even still, Banks is in a league of her own, she just manages to check the boxes just right, not too much or too little with either one. Not saying she's the best at it, but good nonetheless.
