The thing is they have given enough episodes for this volume and enough care. If they did it for every volume it could become one hell of an adaptation, but sadly 13 episodes is not enough for covering all these volumes, especially when we consider the fact that they are really voluminous.
I know it sounds like a waste of points, but class B is currently held together by ichinose and her ideals. As it stands, If a classmate was allowed to get expelled while its totally posible to save him, class would instantly die with no hope of ever getting into class A. That's both the biggest strength and weakness of that class.
Class A is Sakayanagi personal chessboard Class B is one unit so they have to stay together or it will break apart Class C is just playing witch hunt Class D is just throwing out whatever trash they can
Yamauchi went out shamefully. On top of fact that he threw his friends under the bus the day before, he got cocky, admitting to working for Sakayanagi and started talking smack to everyone. And after it was revealed that he was the one getting expelled, he made a big scene and nearly got beat up. Massive L Side-note: I’m glad Manabe got expelled, she got what she deserved.
I'm not a novel reader so no spoilers here: It should be noted that while Ayanokoji's plans this time mostly meddled with the other clases, it was Sakayanagi who meddled the most in his own class. It seems she hand-picked Yamauchi out of a personal grudge from back when he tripped her and randomly badmouthed her at the start of the season, so that his connection to her would make him the target of elimination. Intentionally or not, she prevented Ayanokoji from being able to focus on removing the person he really wanted to remove (Kushida). And last but not least, she apparently made Ayanokoji needlessly stand out by getting all the positive votes from class A (that's why he was in first place). You have to respect how she collaborated with Yamauchi himself in order to him expelled, under the pretense that she wanted to expel Ayanokoji when Ayanokoji is the one person she doesn't want expelled.
Just FYI Manabe is the one that beat up on Kei with her friends during the cruise ship exam last season. Ayanokouji literally did so much behind the scenes, from saving Ryuen, getting rid of Yamauchi, expelling Kei’s bully, gave the points to Ichinose to avoid dating Manubu, and most importantly saved himself

At the end of the day, Class B is a complete unit that’s been held together, while the other classes possibly played things out a little similarly as our class to give someone the boot. Moving forward, Class B managed to maintain trust in most of them, while there’s fractures in the others. The only thing is that it’s still something that can be exploited against Class B, as they aren’t willing to be so cutthroat, like Hirata.
This was one of favorite LN volumes. It goes to show that you don't need super complicated tests to come up with a nice twist and satisfying conclusion. Wished Kinugasa did this more.

Ayanokoji made efforts to not be in the center of attention this entire time, even keeping his test scores on the average and having Horikita lead the class when he plans everything behind the scenes, so being placed 1st in this exam would make people become aware of him and it's the opposite of what he's been doing up till now. He has people in the class, such as Horikita, Kei, (Hirata?), and his study group who would give him positive votes, so the moment Yamauchi got called out Ayanokoji would be in no danger of getting voted out anymore and he absolutely have no need to make himself come out in 1st place either. I think Sakayanagi made him become 1st place in order to drive people's attention to him so he won't be able to work in the shadows anymore, thereby restricting his movements. Rather than say they're "connected", I would say he's been attacked.
Classroom of the elite season 3 episode 8 have super hyped , emotional , depression , clowning and funny moment . Manabe and yamagod expelled , ichinose not except bastard nagumo offer , ryen / ibuki moment , ayanokoji saves ryen and tshichad revealed .

@@zeasygamers1189 I think it mentions in the LN that he witnessed one of his close friends jump out of a window to his death due to bullying, with Hirata being unwilling to intervene at the time because he was worried about himself... then he became something akin to a kinder Ryuuen, keeping his class in line with fear until the school intervened themselves... but tbf... spoilers below he gets much worse after this episode, even lashing out at a girl who had a crush on him, until Koenji of all people stopped him from hurting her and then of course, our boi Ayanokoji descends upon the poor bastard and deals the finishing blow, breaking him in a similar but less creepy way to what he did to Karuizawa before building him back up until he becomes yet another tool for him to use... with Hirata himself commenting on the inherent darkness in Ayanokoji's eyes

Ichonose gave ryuen her classes positive votes in exchange for the points that ibuki retrieved from ryuen under the mind of kiyotaka. Horikitas speech definitely shifted neg votes away from kiyotaka but I don't think it would have gotten him all those positive votes... So who's left? Why would sakayanagi need positive votes anyway in her class if she has absolute power besides headphone (katsuragi) dent and expelled (yahiko)? I think sakayanagi made yamauchi a target, got him to try and expell someone from the class which was his own choice of kiyotaka, sakayanagi was not having it so she abandoned him and helped the person she looks up to (kiyotaka). Kiyotaka was involved in all of the classes votes besides class A and none of the classes where involved in class C's vote besides class A. CONNECTIONS
YamaGod definitely made huge mistakes. I still remember when Sakayanagi was tripped by him and I already guessed that she will get him expelled by playing games. I mean there is no way Sakayanagi would date him in exchange of betraying his own class and she already knew that Ayanokouji will surely save himself somehow making YamaGod a scapegoat. YamaGod should had guessed that a person (sakayanagi) who can tell him to betray his own class can easily betray him as well.
I would say that Class B made the right choice. Their strength is their strong teamwork. They don't have anyone as smart as Ayanakoji or Sakayanagi or even Ryumen but they were able to maintain their position through all the special tests because their teamwork was top tier. If they kick someone out then it will destroy that teamwork the friends of whoever got kicked out will have beef with the ones who voted their friend out. It will destroy the teamwork and trust they built through the year. At the end of the day it is just points they can always get more and this is the end of the year anyway so it really does not matter how many points they have right now. They will get chances to build up points again next year.

Pretty sure Hirata’s backstory should have been in s2 during the boat arc about when he explained his relationship with Kei’s to Ayanogoat. So not really spoil they just skipped it.
This is how I interpret Sakanayagi behavior... Since she couldnt do the bet now she planned this little minigame for Ayanokoji and she set up This Dbag to be expelled. The way she was talking I bet she gave class A positive votes to Ayanokoji. She is the frienemy likely too bored with her inteligence so she is having fun playing with Ayanokoji doesnt matter the heads that come off as side effect.

The one part I don't understand is why Ayanokoji was first in positive votes. Apart from his tiny handful of close associates, he is a background character. Did Hirata and Karuizawa organise votes for him to counter anyone still wanting to vote him out? But that makes no sense, since Karuizawa is not publically related to him as her asking her friend group makes no sense, and Hirata is not in that state of mind lol. And Horikita is a loner and also was surprised. Like, how was it even possible? Normally, yeah. You'd have to get rid of someone, however Class B is just built different. Class B gave all their points to Ichinose. Do people understand how insane that is? Ichinose's flaws are that she's somewhat idealistic and a people pleaser to the extent of sacrificing herself, but that's what makes her so likeable. The whole class trusts her with everything, even after admitting guilt for a crime. She values every single one of her classmates and vice versa. She managed to unite everyone in the class, so cutting off someone is out of the question for her
Now hear me out, I am not saying I support class B's decision, think of this however you want to I just want to open some new ways of thinking. Normally people would be willing to cut down the defective members of their classes in that situation, but class B always has the motive of everyone progressing together and improving themselves in a democratic way with a leader , now if they decided that should cut down a person with the least contribution, that literally goes against the ideal set by ichinose, let's say if they still expelled somebody and people go overdrive to not hold the class back (that's how class B operates) if another exam like this happened would she still have expelled somebody who wasn't contributing enough? since I got spoiled and know hirat's background story beforehand The way he has been acting since the last episode and this episode makes perfect sense, ( not right but makes sense)
The thing is part of Hirata's backstory should have already being covered in other seasons of the anime but they skipped those dialogues/monologues of him, so it is not spoiler unless they cover his backstory in the future.
Pretty sure Hirata’s backstory should have been in s2 during the boat arc about when he explained his relationship with Kei’s to Ayanogoat. So not really spoil they just skipped it.

This is how I interpret Sakanayagi behavior... Since she couldnt do the bet now she planned this little minigame for Ayanokoji and she set up This Dbag to be expelled. The way she was talking I bet she gave class A positive votes to Ayanokoji. She is the frienemy likely too bored with her inteligence so she is having fun playing with Ayanokoji doesnt matter the heads that come off as side effect.

You can't really judge Class B, Joe. Their chemistry is really solid (Althought it's mostly off-screen).
The one part I don't understand is why Ayanokoji was first in positive votes. Apart from his tiny handful of close associates, he is a background character. Did Hirata and Karuizawa organise votes for him to counter anyone still wanting to vote him out? But that makes no sense, since Karuizawa is not publically related to him as her asking her friend group makes no sense, and Hirata is not in that state of mind lol. And Horikita is a loner and also was surprised. Like, how was it even possible? Unless it's implied that a lot of the people who originally were convinced to vote him out felt guilty and so voted for him?

Normally, yeah. You'd have to get rid of someone, however Class B is just built different. Class B gave all their points to Ichinose. Do people understand how insane that is? Ichinose's flaws are that she's somewhat idealistic and a people pleaser to the extent of sacrificing herself, but that's what makes her so likeable. The whole class trusts her with everything, even after admitting guilt for a crime. She values every single one of her classmates and vice versa. She managed to unite everyone in the class, so cutting off someone is out of the question for her

Now hear me out, I am not saying I support class B's decision, think of this however you want to I just want to open some new ways of thinking.
Normally people would be willing to cut down the defective members of their classes in that situation, but class B always has the motive of everyone progressing together and improving themselves in a democratic way with a leader , now if they decided that should cut down a person with the least contribution, that literally goes against the ideal set by ichinose, let's say if they still expelled somebody and people go overdrive to not hold the class back (that's how class B operates) if another exam like this happened would she still have expelled somebody who wasn't contributing enough? Nobody would feel secure in that environment and nobody would believe in Ichinose anymore. People act like the only one getting affected is the person with the short end of the stick but they forget about how other people perceive you, your ideals, methods and their future prospects with you
