Honestly can’t our fan base have any sympathy for Roy? Yes, the football has been dreadful and yes, it is the right decision to sack him, but an elderly man is in hospital right now after coming out of retirement and trying to do the best for our club. Parish has literally almost killed the guy with his lack of ambition. Roy deserves some form of appreciation from our fans at the next home game. Parish is the one we should be going for now.

You know that this was the work of John Textor. Parish only went ahead of sacking him now only to make himself look good to the fans with the pressure on him from the fans and Textor himself. If he wanted to sack Hodgson he would have done it against Bournemouth. Still this is great news
