Das Schweriner Schloss: Ein Märchenschloss mit wechselvoller Vergangenheit
Stell dir vor, du baust dir eine Burg, schön gemütlich mitten auf einer Insel. Genau das haben sich die Slawen auch gedacht, und zwar schon um 941. Aus dieser slawischen Burg wurde im Laufe der Jahrhunderte das prachtvolle Schweriner Schloss.
Erst war es eine einfache Burg, dann wurde es im Renaissance-Stil verschönert. Aber so richtig schick wurde es erst im 19. Jahrhundert. Da haben sich die Großherzöge gedacht: "Unser Schloss muss aussehen wie aus einem Märchenbuch!" Und so entstand ein romantisches Schloss, das fast so schön ist wie Neuschwanstein.
Nach dem Ende der Monarchie zog der Landtag in das Schloss ein. Also von der slawischen Burg zum Parlament - eine lange Reise, bei der das Schloss so einiges erlebt hat. Kriege, Feste, Intrigen - das Schweriner Schloss hat alles mitgemacht. Heute ist es nicht nur ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel, sondern auch ein Symbol für die Geschichte Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns.
