    Important for Crossfire Users: If you have Crossfire and using OpenTX logs you need to go into the telemetry tab in of your model and change Alt to GAlt for the altitude to display in 3D in Googe Earth.

      @ApappieK Před 2 lety

      Using ELRS and OpenTX and FlightLog2kml I do not need to change the Alt to GAlt, . But in OpenTX Companion converting directly to Earth Pro I have to change to GAlt.

      @@ApappieK Thank you! I have not tried it as I usually don't use Crossfire. This is what a user told me is necessary. need to doublecheck.

    Hi Mark - the release update yesterday cannot be downloaded properly (windows zip) flightlog2kml win64 zip will not download (the unix one does) Can you reach the author of that download and ask him/her to at least put the old release there so we can download it? Or could you send me an older release (zip file)? Thanks Ron

    find any way to show absolute altitude on the trackline?

  • @DadsRCHangar
    @DadsRCHangar Před 2 lety

    That’s great, I have been looking for something like this to track Fixed Wing flights, mainly to see how good I am with flying at the same level, something an examiner looks at with your B certificate. So you don’t use the INAV for anything else but this. I guess this would be used?

    • @MarcFPV
      @MarcFPV  Před 2 lety +1

      yeah you could use an inav FC as a pure gps tracker this way if you want. but I don't know if you can start Blackbox logging without arming.

      @@MarcFPV Humms, maybe there is away round this. Will have to investigate, unless your super brain knows a way 😎

    • @MarcFPV
      @MarcFPV  Před 2 lety +1

      @@DadsRCHangar Fixed Wing Auto arm at least needs a throttle input to automatically arm the FC.
      Maybe blackbox on a mode and then permanently enabled as the default channel pos is 1500 onunmapped channels. Not sure if that works in disarmed state. Then it would record as soon as it is powered.

    Any idea how to get these tools to work on a Mac? The drag and drop the log file onto the blackbox_decode does not work on the Mac.

    • @logantrinklein1469
      @logantrinklein1469 Před 7 měsíci

      @IAmTheCraftsman I figured it out. You need to go to terminal and copy the blackbox_decode file, then leave a space and paste your flight log. If you need more clarification I can try to elaborate.
