Fingerprint on a watch seems pretty useless and will make the Watch costlier than it already is and you don't really need 3000 nits brightness...1500-2000 is more than enough, even in a sunny summer day at like 3-4 PM.

It's required even when switching between means of public transport on the same ticket within 15 minutes. Better to use my creditcard. Quicker, and no PIN necessary. A fingerprint reader would make a lot of sense, however, however, the PIN every time is unnecessary. It's sufficient to just have one pin, when strapping the watch on.
No all of Google is the problem. The watch is horrible 64.5% of the battery is eaten by Google service Samsung has no choice they are at the mercy of Google. Instead of not holding Samsung back Google sandbags them and cries they can’t beat Apple so we are going with pixel. Samsung really messed up by not buying android when they had the opportunity because now they have no real control. Wear os 4 was reported to have massive battery drain during the beta months before the release here we are 6 months from release and still no fix. Android 14 beta testing 2 months behind Google didn’t have it ready more like they did but had they given Samsung what they needed it would’ve been released with the pixel 8 killing their sales.
Having a faster watch is my top priority. I want the watch to have a better performance without any lag whatsoever. A faster response time will improve the experience 100X.
I sure am glad that I kept the 5 Pro instead going with the galaxy 6. All I hear is a lot of complaints about the galaxy watch 6. To me the most important function to have on a watch is a good battery and HEALTH & more HEALTH.
Imagine of they decided to bring us a larger display which we have been begging for. And solar powered ? A little partnership between samsung and garmin. Garmin to produce the solar absorbing and samsung to build the rest. Now that would be incredible. I'm not to worried about oled and micro oled. My display on my watch5 pro is awesome sharp clean and crisp. And I bet the watch 6 is similar. But come on the way the world Is going we need more solar tech being brought forward. Solar would allow for a larger display to absorb the rays quicker etc. And as we usually wear are watches outside they would be charged in under a few hours just walking about. That or even kinetic energy. Imagine if they fitted solar to the back glass of there phones too. Omg now we are talking same situation free recharges every day there is sun in the sky.
GBoard not working is a problem today. A serious one for me because it renders Google Keep voice-to-text entries from the watch impossible unless on the Samsung keyboard that requires English. I depend upon it, and it's part of the reason to have Wear OS watch in the first place. I think Samsung/Google should have been transparent about it not working on Wear OS 4.0 (yes, dream on). I would have stayed on 3.5 until it was functional. As for the Samsung Ultra - 10 atm and it still needs a turning bezel. The Pro version can go without. As for improvements, the new Pixel Watch 2 seems to have higher accuracy in HR and waaay better sleep tracking than Samsung...so Samsung has quite serious competition now.
Recently I was out walking and noticed that I was breathing pretty hard. I decided to do an ECG and it said that I was having Irregular heart beat. I decided to go to the ER and get checked out. They told me that the EKG was normal and so was my heart beat. But I did have elevated heart emzymes and I received two stents. So, at first I thought that the Galaxy Watch 5 pro had possibly saved my life. However, when I checked HOW TO USE on my phone, it showed that you can't use the ECG while exercising. The watch will only show that you have irregular heart beat if you have been still for one hour or more. If the watch detects an irregular rhythm, it will continue to monitor for 1 hour and if it still detects an irregular rhythm, then and then only will it notify you of this possible problem. That was very disappointing to hear. I want a watch that will notify me right away that there might be a problem.
My galaxy watch 6 classic is so slow. There is so much lag when I type on it, when I move from screen to screen and when information is displayed. Fixed those first, please. Takes me back the time when computers first came out. Not a period of nostalgia I want to go back to.
Seems that the 6&7pro rumours are true. Looks like they will be releasing "pro" variants and change the name back to "ultra" to fit in with the smartphone ultra lineups. if so, I can't wait to see if there's a 6 pro and what it'll look like.
It's deemed to happen that mled will change OLED aka super amoled since mled has better colour no burn in , other but kinda too early unless it arrives in samsung TV's

People will shell out the money for quality products. Samsung needs to do this because they are limiting themselves in terms of showing the public not only what they can do, but to also keep from falling even further behind Apple. The GW Ultra is the answer to this problem.
So far my watch 4 classic is nice. Only thing that could make it better would be tap to pay in India. Like Google pay. Come on Google what is taking you so long. I hope things speed up now that Samsung has launched its tap to pay.
Dude, go buy an Apple watch and you'll truly see what bad battery life is! The Apple Watch Ultra is $800 but only lasts 2.5 days tops, while my Watch 6 Classic 47mm lasts 2 days at only half the cost. The standard Apple watch won't even last 1 full day. 😂😂 Get a Garmin if you want crazy battery life!

When will samsung finaly bring us a much larger displsy ? Not all of usbhave small wrists. Orbin my case i prefer a much larger display due to horrid eyesite. I use a dieself mr daddy with 57mm display when i am home so i can see the time. Same reason i went with the fold 5 much larger displsy for easier viewing. I moved from apple watch when i move to Samsung and both apple and Samsung make some seriously good watches but both lack the size! I know we now have a 47mm from Samsung but thats on the 6. I have ghe watch 5 pro which has more features than the 6. Being titanium for one and a huge battery being second. How about a real jump forward and not another tiny marked improvement bring us a nice large solar chzrging s watch ? Many could argue a larger display alloes for more solar absorption. With the climate going the way it is soalr powered id the way forward thst coupled with kinetic and regenerstive when it comes to automobiles. Sorry for the rant. But i wsnt ti see samsung really deliver something wow i cant live without item. Thst to me would be a 50mm upwards display that is solar powered. Display itself such as oled and micro led are we really bothered ? The screen on my watch 5 pro is sumptuous its crisp sharp and bright and performs exactly ss it should.

It seems to me like you say. Companies think about the future but don't do much for the present as far as their products working properly.
Samsung has great hardware, better than Apple, but the software is where it struggles, understandably because of the ecosystem run by Google.
