Can't believe 2017 was 7 years ago...
I was 11 years old when both my parents died.
And then everything went down hill.
I lost the house, I couldn't get a job, I was homeless without food or water to spare.
Days had past and I started stealing from gas stations to survive.
But one fateful night is when it all changed.
It was raining and I was sleeping in my box and samurai approached me.
I was startled at first as he introduced himself and offered me to work along with him in his dojo.
I accepted and thats where everything changed for the better.
I started learn the ways of the dragon master and was learning quickly.
And I was ready for *THE TEST*.
I flowed through it flawlessly.
My teacher was amazed at how fast I was learning and thus set me off into the real world.

Heart warming story
Whenever i see that photo, it makes me think of the cameraman. I imagine that he took this picture at one of the kid's birthdays, and that he went into a coma. And when he woke up, his memorys were distorted and this is how he remembers the picture. And since he was in a coma, he is in a much younger state of mind than everyone else.

After 7yrs, Playing this song feels like listening to my past during 2020-2022. That 3 years was when I've been through all the mental issues and family problems I've been through. After 2024, I've been trying to find this song again. I once again found it in my old playlist. Makes me wanna cry. I love this song and will forever love it. This song was the start of my story. I will forever love it and remember it from now on. Ever since, this single song has stuck in my mind whenever I've been through something dark. I don't know, it gives me the chills and an emotion that feels amazing.

I always feel like there is this underlying sentiment of "Adult = bad, Child = Awesome" but it's been my experience that childhood is freaking terrible. You're limited in more ways than one, and while childhood is fleeting, it's not necessarily better.
If I look back to my childhood I find I don't want to return to it, everyone use to tell me "oh you say that now because you're young" but 34 years later and I'm still sitting in the same position. My childhood wasn't terrible, but I feel like I understand so much more now. I've learned so much more that feeds my curiosity and wonder. I never had any of that as a child, stuff just was as it was I never questioned. Now I wake up in the middle of the night going "what makes a good weld?" "How do you know a good weld from a bad one?" "how do you make bamboo baskets?" "How do you use calking?" "How do you use a soldering iron?" on and on. I learn everyday of my life, and it feeds my curiosity so much. I'll look at a flower and go "what flower is this? is it edible?" "what is this weird fruit at the store? how do you check it's ripeness? how do you eat it? what does it taste like?"
When you never stop asking questions the world takes on a new and exciting kinda feel to it. Though adults do sometimes stop asking silly questions for fear of being seen as stupid. Perhaps adults take themselves too seriously or get so wrapped up in the identity of parenthood that they forget themselves all together and just become Mom or Dad. Whatever the case, you can keep a significant amount of "child-like curiosity" if you just keep asking questions about the world around you.
To that end, I feel like demonizing adults isn't a good idea. Adults are charged with the safety and raising of children. Granted bad parents exist as well as bad adults, don't get me wrong. However a lot of parents try their hardest to feed their child's curiosity and their random sometimes idiotic flights of fantasy when they say "oh look an alien" while pointing to a bumblebee. However, adults, not just parents, but adults are also there to help ease a child into the world of reality. This way they can go off an be well adjusted Teens and Adults, without that easing it's like dumping someone in an ice cold lake and saying "deal with it". You can only indulge ignorance for so long before it becomes silly. Children sadly do have to grow up, and while childhood is fleeting, with better adults, well adjusted adults, they can become well adjusted adults too. Otherwise we get not-so-well adjusted teens and non-functioning adults, which that benefits literally no one, themselves included.
So maybe stop with this idea that adults are somehow silencing children 24/7 and are blind to the world around them. Neither of those is the case.

Geologically as well as socially, economically and politically. This world full of rush and change is so normal for us that we don't realise that we are living under stress every day.
