Just a thought. Birds outside do not have their nails trimmed. So, I put in rocks on the bottom of the cage, big ones here and there for them to land on to help trim their nails naturally.
Yep , I feel your pain, I have 8 pairs of poles, lost 1 hen who was fit one min and the next gone, none of the pairs have done anything.

Hello I recently saw your channel and I have some questions regarding my canaries. I have a female canary that is about 9 months old. She started laying eggs so I bought her a nest. She lays in it. I bought a male canary yesterday and he is about 6 months old. I am worried that the male being younger will affect whether or not they breed. Thanks .

Sir I have a pair of canary. The female canary ready to breed and she is setting to cross but the male is not crossing the female male.
So sir what can I do.

Like the show, but I think more attention could be shown to the cleanliness of the cages, they always seem dirty and grubby. Birds will be healthier and happier when provided with a clean environment.

Thanks for the comment, I film episodes across a two week cycle, which coincides with my cleaning regime, what this means is that occasionally pick up shots will show the cages the day they are due for a clean.
