4:30 army calculations are still off.
Ever since release how casualties are calculated doesn't make sense because it depicts battles as being one large entire force assaulting the other at one single point, with no tactics around maneuvering or such.
If you look at the actual casualties in the real First Opium War then you can see how skewed they are.
In reality it lasted nearly 3 years and less than 500 British people died in it, less than 1000 if we count everyone who was injured as well.
Yet in this you seem to still lose 1000 people just in day one, to peasants armed with fucking pitchforks 😂
There should be like a -100% attack penalty to the first tick of the battle for anyone using melee units, because at the moment it is simulating battles as if the Chinese could teleport to 2 feet in front of the Redcoats which just doesn't make any sense.
