What are the very best collectors editions of all time? Well I attempt to answer that question!
Obviously this is my opinion only and the editions I have listed in this video are ones I have either owned myself or at least seen in real life!

The destroy all humans 1 remake collectors edition was amazing, it came with a 1/3 scale model of the alien . Extremely rare
Yeah I’ve seen that displayed in my local CEX trade shop, they’re doing the same thing for the sequel too

To be honest one of my fave collectors boxset was Cyberpunk 2077 😊 loved the motorbike scene statue. I mean it's like a frozen in time scene.
Yeah it was pretty solid, this video was actually made just before that edition dropped otherwise it may have made it on the list!
Love the banjo kazooie music in the background. My fav game of all time!
Had to be done, just goes so well with the scene! 🤣

The resident evil 7 biohasard one was awesome as well. Came with a statue of the mansion that doubled as a music box. And a finger thumb drive
In America it did, but here in the UK we just got a busted house model which had to be recalled and it wasn’t even a music box lol

I have most of these collector but my favorite are God of War (2018) and Cyberpunk, im still shock for the size of the box of Cyberpunk Collector, the briefcase with all signature is amazing, pretty good quality, every one have to got it in his collection, you Can get it for "cheap" price, for me it's an underrated collector 😉
I did get the cyberpunk one too and yeah I agree I loved the attention to detail…didn’t take away the sting of the game not working for me at launch though!😑🤣
I just started into this world. I got GOW Ragnarök Collector's and hope to make a huge panel in the end of the year. I'm a Canadian. Where do you buy yours !?

I get mine from wherever sell them, some of the more popular editions tend to be sold exclusively from GAME which is the biggest game retail shop here in the UK.
The last of us part 2, Death Stranding and even Little Nightmares 2 are just three of my favourites as I love collecting collectors editions! It feels like the quality is slipping though as it seems now they are coming out without physical discs of the game but include steelbooks 😔 that on top of the stupidly high prices they are doing now too just really makes me worry about the future of gaming
Yeah definitely, the prices are going up which I could deal with if the quality stayed the same but they tend to take things out completely or reduce the quality of what’s included. The Spider Man 2 CE is the first I’ve preordered in a long time.
How do you keep your collectors editions in good condition and how should I store them so they won’t get damaged cause mine gets dusty and damaged on the corners.
I used a couple of make up brushes my partner wasn’t using, they’re really soft so don’t damage any parts, and sometimes a can of air!
I always keep their boxes too so if I’m moving them they can stay safe in the boxes that are made for them!
Do you not like the Metro: Exodus collectors edition? Haven't finished the game or seen the collectors edition, just wondering because it was kinda implied at the start
Nah I like it I just used the zoom in on the creatures face as a backdrop from when I said “They’re not perfect”, his face kinda goes with the point 🤣
The ones on my actual list as I said were ones I saw in real life, I never got the chance to see the metro one, it looked cool as hell though!
Ive bought so many and I have been surprised and upset over and over. A recent purchase that surprised me was the Callisto CE. That statue was solid. I figured it would be average. I love collecting these things though.
Love when I pass on some of them and snag them cheap later though. Makes you feel good. LOL
Yeah they can be awesome but alot of recent ones have been WAY too expensive for what they are!
Also getting some of them shipped to the UK is a nightmare! 🤣

I have the Borderlands 3 Collector's Edition sealed & I only paid 150 USD (the store that I bought it from priced it as a used item - but I can't complain cuz majority of the brand new/sealed ones that I've researched are going for well over 400+)
A great one to have that I'm lucky to have gotten is the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Juggernog Edition - comes with a working Juggernog mini fridge replica that you can use for drinks & it has perk-a-cola coasters & a few other things (however it's hella expensive if you're trying to buy one)
Those are just a few Collector's Editions that I own cuz if I listed all the ones I have I'd have to make at least 3 more comments listing them 😂😂😂
Oh yeah if you can get them sealed at a lower price it’s defo a good investment!😆
The COD ones have all been pretty cool tbh, not a fan of the games but they come with some cool stuff!

Wasn’t about rare, more about ones I loved. Also the resi 7 one in the UK was ass, they had to recall them from sale cause they all turned up broken and missing a lot that the US edition had.

The Batman CE was a good premise but the Joker with desk “statue” was cheap plastic. I threw mine in a box somewhere. I remember buying 2 of the Halo Reach CEs from Amazon for $60 a piece in February 2011. Have one still sealed and the other I opened to display. I’ve stepped back from ordering CEs lately because most are cheap statues and don’t warrant the price for them. Most go on sale and get very cheap.
Yeah I get that I’m kind of the same atm, the prices have increased and they started offering less in the box.
I still buy them on occasion but only if they’re worth it.
That's the thing, we usually get some really good collectors editions that make the Americans jealous. So it goes either way.
Also I see Aloy ❤ happy I got that collectors edition myself. Love Dishonoured, but not bothered over that edition though, hate the mask prefer it in 1. The wolf Link statue makes me jello, the only Zelda game I ❤
The wolf like is a First 4 Figures statue, one of my first big purchases, I love their stuff!
I managed to get the Horizon 2 big edition too so they go nicely together!😏
You didn't even mention or probably cuz you didn't know, in the Arkham origins collector's edition..... On the statue diorama...It had a secret compartment.... They contained a little bag that had something inside. It was located in the back of the statue. I don't want to tell what it is because it has something to do with the game and don't want to spoil it in case you haven't played it and want to.
Wow, That Darksiders 3 collectors edition box is absolutely huge! What goodies came with it exactly?
Yeah it is lol, it came with a hanging scroll, a4 art book, steel book and 4 statues

@@TheDisasterNerd Also, these collector's edition statues that you shown are really amazing. Especially that Songbird edition.
@@KaijuLover2 indeed that’s why it’s No.2 lol, main thing I hate about a lot of editions is that the statues look nice and detailed but then they’re just hollow bits of plastic, it’s awesome when you get ones like the songbird and Yorm the giant that are solid and heavy!
Also I have the xbox 360 resident evil 5 edition it's so sweet it comes with headphones resident evil 5 game a red resident evil xbox 360 and a matching red controller
Yeah I bought that same controller separately, shame it didn't have any real Resi design to it though!
I Also Have Batman Arkham Origins Collectors Edition but like Batman Arkham City Collectors Edition Statue Better and Also Have That Collectors Edition
All the batman ones have been pretty damn decent tbf!

Got them years ago from Argos, think they were just called Box Shelving
How do you store the boxes?
Used to just have them in cupboards and under my bed but then started to store them in a self storage unit right by my flat.
That's the only issue with collecting these things, where the hell do you store them lol
@@TheDisasterNerd Fair enough then and exactly! I have the fallout 76 power armour edition but the box is huge. I plan on getting a kallax unit like you have and putting the box on top of it; sure it will overlap but eh the box looks cool lol

I actually follow a guy on twitter who has ALOT more than I do and he has a room for displaying his statues and a separate room for displaying his boxes!😳
