    Good thing you explained for 1 minute the progress of humanity but you didn't tell me how much water should I put inside depending on the size and quantity of the bottle. Which was the first reason I watched the video.

      Hi Mihnea. Thank you for your comment. We're happy to help you with your query. For 125ml/4oz bottles, fill the warmer with water to just above the level of the milk in the bottle. For 260ml/9oz bottle, fill the warmer to 15 mm (1/2 inch) below the rim of the warmer. Never let water level rise above the neck of the bottle or spill over the edge of the warmer. We hope you found this information helpful. Feel free to reach out to us again if you have any other questions.

      At 0:58 in the video she literally says "add 125ml of water" as she's pouring the water. Dummy. Should've just watched it again before posting that smart@$$ comment.

Exact times depend on several factors like the starting temperature and volume of the water or milk, if the bottle is made out of glass or plastic, size of bottle, et cetera. Hi again, Ana. For safety reasons, the bottle must be removed immediately when it is at the right temperature. This is important to ensure that the bottle does not get too hot. Therefore, we don't recommend putting the bottle in to be prepared on forehand. The best time to heat the water is when you want to make the milk. This product is far from being mother's best friend. The table to estimate the time is 2x2 for 60ml or 120ml. You have to use your own timer and at the end you're really guessing. What if you'd like to warm 2 bottles: One with milk, second with the formula to top up? What if it's only 40ml? This bottle warmer is as smart as a kettle.

      @@Philips Thank you for listening. I'm usually satisfied with your products, like avent glass bottles. But not this one. What I expect from the bottle warmer is to put a bottle into it, some water, press a button and leave. Then hear a tune when it's done, take a bottle out and go feeding. Now what I don't like about your product: 1) Your table is not adequate. I'd like to know how to warm any amount between 10 and 120 from fridge from both cool state or warm state (when is bottle warmer still warm). Bottle warmer doesn't stop when it's done. • @Philips

      All of your advertisements for this product specifically stated that the milk is circulated for even heating! Product sucks! I can heat baby's bottle in a hot water bath in the equivalent amount of time. Since I have to circulate it myself anyway... May as well return! Why waste my time with your false advertising!?

    Can I defrost a milk straight from freezer to avent warmer?

    • @Philips
      @Philips  Před 5 lety

      Good question! We do have bottle warmers with a defrost function built-in, like the SCF355. It'll take a bit longer all-in-all to have a properly warmed up bottle of milk of course, but it's most certainly a possibility. :)

      @@Philips Thanks for the prompt response. I have recently purchased a avent storage 10 cups and a avent warmer with defrost feature. Will the warmer automatically and completely defrost it? or do I need to manually monitor it?

    • @Philips
      @Philips  Před 5 lety

      You're most welcome. :) The SCF355 doesn't monitor the temperature and shuts off by itself. There is a table included in the manual which helps you determine the appropriate defrosting time, as well as the right time to warm up the milk for the specific volume you've decided to warm up. Hope that answers your question!

    circulate the milk continuously? I don't see this function. It looks stationary to me. To be completely honest, a jug of close to boiling water is much faster and if you boil and store 2L of boiling water in a flask, it is much more economical. This product is for sure a gimmick. It takes ages to heat 120ml of milk. Don't buy this. Waste of your money I can assure you. Get yourself a pretty looking stainless steel jug or container and a quality flask for a fraction of the price and you'll have a much better result.
