Can we just accept and appreciate these 2 for the fact that they single handedly uplifted dpreview reviews to the next level. I still miss those old dpreview field reviews with pro photographers and those trips dpreview used to do. But these "OG camerastoretv guys" really uplifted the channel.

Definitely. I followed them from The Camera Store. If they go independent I'll still follow them. THEY are the ones that are not only fun to watch but I really look to for a one-day decision. ONE day I may just decide.....

I always throw in a few silica, desiccant, gel bags into my camera bag(s) to soak up the moisture and prevent fungal growth on my lenses and camera.
Good snack when I’ve been backpacking with my camera gear

This is such a gem of a video.
What I really want to know, is what will be in your camera bag after July. A lot of new kit is coming out. Will you guys stick it out with the GH5? Will we know about a GH6 by the end of summer. Will Sony and Canon deliver something to move you off the GH5? I really want to know about future Chris's camera bag.
Looks like your are still stuck in early spring. In Ontario, this is our first day at 68 degrees and sunny. Leaves still not out, but the buds are ready to pop. Stay warm guys.

As a DSLR user I always have my Hoodman Loupe. Also for close up photography a pair of scissors for trimming little branches. And lots and lots of candy 🍬

I always have a small rocket blower in my bag. Always blow before you wipe! Also handy if there's some dust on my sensor.
Good blower is probably the most best tool for cleaning in general. So handy, all the time.
Looking forward to the next one - there can never be enough bags :)

The two different items I carry are insect repellent wipes and packages of hand warmers. I also found hockey tape works as well as gaffers tape but is much cheaper

Ah yes, the Panasonic GH5, the AK-47 of cameras, I’ve often heard it called that.
An Allen Wrench, doubly important if you use 3Legged Thing tripods.

I read the thumbnail and title and interpreted it as "the gear that never makes it out of his bag on a shoot"
For my long term travels of many countries and many years I had a little plastic raincoat for my camera bag and for the camera. Plus I usually travelled (backpacker style) with the camera bag inside a regular daypack but also inside a waterproof liner of a roll down drybag.
kept it hidden and harder to get to for any potential theives but not hard for me to reach inside the daypack, lift the camera bag top and grab my camera. Bit annoying but worth the long term safety on the road where I was on chicken buses and the like, on boats, in torrential rain or dust storms.

Kind of surprised. More video gear there than I would have thought, and only the lens attached to the camera. BTW, you mentioned the camera, but not the lens attached to it.
What I don't carry is just as important as what I do - I don't carry water in the same bag, and never carry it above the camera/lenses. Learned that one the hard way!

Chris & Jordan - thank you for an entertaining (sometimes very funny), ALWAYS informative & practical insight into cameras, camera gear & video/video production. Its helped me to transition from a Pentax ME Super & various cheap digital cameras over the years to now owning 3 mirrorless camera systems = Sony e Mount; Fujifilm X Mount; Panasonic/Olympus MFT. You guys have helped me in those decisions of "What gear for what I am trying to shoot?" [PS loved the past jokes/observations about weird Pentax users comments ... lol]
I have 5 adult children for whom I have recently bought cameras (& camera lens - quality 'primes') to help them to move away from relying solely on smart phones for their precious memories (family, children, travel, weddings, special events, art, performing music etc). The buying decisions & options I gave my children were helped by your excellent CZcams channel. Q. What price can you put on those photos & video of "precious memories"? THANKS A MILLION :)

I always have a Swiss Army Knife or some sort of mult-itool with me for those times when "That will never happen to me" happens to me. And a litre of water, but I'm usually out in the wilds when I'm shooting, so...

Often I've thought that I need to carry a syringe and needle in my bag, you know just in case water droplets etc.
Should've went with the Star shaped sun glasses. Put your hand out and say "talk to the hand".
what about what’s in your personal camera bag when you’re shooting for fun or personal? long time fan Chris but i think more people would be interested in personal vs your job stuff. otherwise it seems like a commercial for 200 products

We always have a title card at the top of the episode. This one was shot on the Panasonic S1H.
The only thing I have in common in my bag is the Gordy strap.

If you wear a Kodak Attaccapanni Photography Safari Jacket with about 18 pockets you don't need a camera bag. Add a fishing vest underneath for another 7 pockets.
I'm surprised you bother to carry a sensor cleaning kit with you everywhere. Doesn't seem like the sort of thing you would be doing "out in the field". You probably won't notice you need it even until you get back to your computer and find spots on the image.
It would have been more exciting if you had tossed the GH5 off to the side like you did the other things.
