Do we need to take out the water (if left ) after using it.?
If not using daily you should remove the water as it will get deposited.
How can I drain the water?
First unplug the iron and then open the water tank cap and tilt the iron so that water can drain.

Yes it will if your switch board wiring can take power load of iron 2200 watts. I am myself using homemade extension with 5 amp plug and 16 amp socket with wire of 1.5.sq mm.

आप को कपडे के हिसाब से डायल का ऑप्शन सेलेक्ट करना होगा। कॉटन के कपडे के लिए कॉटन , आज कल गर्मी है तो गर्मी के कपडे कॉटन के ही होते है। सॉफ्ट कपडे कम टेम्परेचर पे प्रेस हो जाते है तो उन के लिए सिंथेटिक और सिल्क use कर सकते है। कोई भी कपडा प्रेस करने से पहले आप कोई ऐसी जगहे, जैसे शर्ट में कालर के पीछे के पीछे प्रेस कर सकती है जिससे आप को आईडिया लग जाये की कपडे के लिए ऑप्शन सही है। अगर आप को स्टीम प्रेस करनी है तो आप को कॉटन और लिनन ही सेलेक्ट करना होगा।
Hi sister,i bought philips 2400watts steam iron today from flipkart,i used iron box just to check performance,and ironed just a small baby cotton frock,and after that on sole plate little burn mark appearing is that normal or should i replace the product please reply me
Burn marks generally appear if we set higher temperature than required for a cloth, try to clean the sole plate with a damp cloth and iron on some waste cloth if burn mark goes away then it's Ok otherwise return the iron.
Why is the button for high steam volume free? How are we supposed to use it? Will we have to hold it the entire time we are ironing?
Yes, for continuous very high steam you have to push and hold the slider, I also find it a bit strange. Though the low steam option also works well and for hard wrinkles steam burst can be used.

Zyada watt hone sei press jaldi garam ho jati hai, temperature range to har cloth kei hisab sei hi set hota hai. Kapde tabhi jalte hai jab hum kapde kei hisab sei dial set nhi karte.
Mam hanging cloth ko bhi press karke dikhayein
Hanging cloth, jaise curtain, pei aap steam boost feature use kar ke salwate hata sakte hai puri press nahi kar sakte.

Waise Philips kee iron achchi hee hoti hai magar mere pe ye iron nahi hai toh mei iss model ke bare mei comment nahi kar sakti. Iss mei 5 amp ka normal/chota 3 pin plug hai, meine ye ekk amazon comment se dekha tha magar baad mei ek commment padha toh ussmei 16 amp plug bataya hua tha. Waise ye 2000 watts ke hai jo kaphi zyada hai.

Slider ko 2nd option pei set kar deejiye , "Calc Clean" ke baad wala option. Phir aap isse bina water kei use kar sakti hai.

We have to shake the iron for cleaning the calcium formation after selecting the calc-clean option and following the procedure as described in the video. Yes, scale and calcium forms when we fill it with water for steam function. The scale formation will depend on the hardness of water in your area.

Thanks ! Dono iron mei same features hai, bus ek ki wattage 2400 hai aur ek ki 2200 watt, 2400 watt mei 150g steam boost ,purple color hai aur 2200 watt mei 110g stem boost, blue color hai. Price difference kareeb Rs.350 hai. 2200 watt wali iron bhi bht jaldi garam ho jati hai. Aap koi bhi choose kar sakte hai dono hi bht aachi iron hai.

Agar aap daily ya frequently use karti hai toh khali na karei, waise thoda hee pani hai toh aap usse kisi kapde pe steam press kar kei khali kar sakti hai. Hanging kapde ya curtains ki salwate/wrinkles remove karne ke lie aap steam boost feature use kar sakti hai.

Mei isko kareeb 6 months sei use kar rahi hu, issme koi problem nahi aayi hai. Kyoki yeh 2200 watt ki hai islie yeh kaphi jaldi garam ho jati hai. Kapde nahi chipakte . Lene sei pehle aap dhyaan rakhiyega ki issme 16 amp ka bada plug aata hai.

Agar aap ke 16 amp ka socket nahi hei toh aap extension board banwa sakti hai, ya 16 amp kei socket switch kei saath aate hai woh fit karwa sakti hai.
Dono hee iron acchi hai, aap koi bhi lei sakti hai. GC 1905 kam watt ki hai (1400 watt) magar woh bhi jaldi garam ho jati hai. Usmei chota 3 pin plug lagta hai. Kareeb 1000 Rs sasti bhi hai.
अगर पानी बिना भरे भी कॉटन वाले मॉड पर प्रेस करे तो प्रेस खराब तो नही होती या जलती तो नहीं है।
Nahi press kharab nahi hogi, aap press ko dry mode par kar de (jis par cloud kata hua hai , eco mode kei left side mei) phir steam nahi niklegi.
