Fun fact: they used the actress as the keyboard player because they didn't have one. Ashley Ellyllon was gone and Caroline Caz didn't joined CoF until 2011. This all happened in late 2010. Good old times.

Ouch! you got introduced into cradle in their weakest this video and album was in their lowest of time trying something new. Back in my day age 14 i was introduced when Cradle was mean and hard I'm 37 and skipped some of their music because it sucked so bad but thankfully they are back as old Cradle Of Filth.

I've been a fan of Cradle of Filth since 2002. Bitter Suites to Succubi was my introduction to the band along with Cruelty and the Beast. The band has matured and while they don't sound like they did 1997-2002, they still release consistent heavy records. One of the best metal bands of the past 20 years.
i don't care what people say a true fan of cradle of filth will love every CD they put out it may not be a favorite but there is no reason to dismiss a band because they change their style unless they go from metal to rap or techno
I remember these days high school days. I've been a metalhead since I was 15. I'm 25. I still love Cradle of filth. But things always feel amazing when you first get into metal, but when you've been listening to metal for over a decade it's still awesome, but you get use to it.

I'm not old school people, I joined when this album came around, and I love everything they have done. They newer albums are great, but so is their really old stuff and while this album might be highly hated, I still love it (and this song is among my favorites, as well as the Elder Version of it).
I will always love Cradle Of Filth. No matter if he gained a little weight or getting older.He will always be a black metal god to me and many others I know. His music touches my soul in places that no other band has.

It's crazy that I've been listening to this band for over 20 years. I've not been disappointed by a single album.
He's not wearing glitter. If you watch the making of vids, he's wearing gravel. Cradle Of Filth has never had a downfall. Some songs they did experiment but, none of them were horrible. They will always be a badass black metal band.

For those who are constantly categorizing Cradle of Filth by genre..You really don't know them well. They do not categorize themselves at all. The closest thing you can say is that they are an extreme metal band. They are a British Black Metal band with powerful Gothic elements. Being a 12 year fan, it just irks me when people call them anything but. They stand alone in the Metal world, and cannot be compared to any other band out there.. Ever. They deserve proper recognition of who they are.

He has sinned with all the glitter. *hehe* Really love these guy's talent! I think, as an artist or even as an average Joe and Jane, you are allowed to experiment, and that's why I find this band great.

I've loved this band for over 13 years and to me, they just get better and better. They are neither gay nor posers. They have been around for a very long time and they aren't going anywhere so just get over it. Both the track and the video are amazing though it's strange not to see Sarah. But I know her band is doing well too. May COF continue their reign!

I love the music's and letter of cradle of filth. I've been listened have a long time, like more than 6 years more or less, I recommend for all that people that likes rock. This band has a fantastic beat and style, the letters are awesome. I really like this band.

Cradle of Filth...I little bit more melodic, but still very good and heavy. Deni's vocal are still great, his amazing singing style hasn't changed that much, wich is mighty good indeed!
I really love the composition around 1:11, the melody around "many never want to see, many never want to know"...this kind of reminds me of how I felt while reading "The Hellbound Heart" that same sense of this is kinda creepy but I'm not looking away & I can't stop reading."She comes to me like a sandstorm in an hourglass"...wow, very powerful image invoking.I don't post much to stuff, but at the same time I feel I need to support the progressive changes I've seen in the band over the yrs.

appearance doesnt matter, what matters is the amazing music and lyrics this band as a whole produces. I wish everyone focused on the band more than just Dani. The are one of my favorite musical groups and I'm excited to see them for my birthday.
I remember getting stoked to see Ashley Jurgemeyer in this video back then but they used some random woman to play the keys because Ashley recorded the keys for Darkly Darkly in its entirity and was featured (promo photo) in the earbook aka Deluxe edition of Darkly Darkly.

Damn these guy make albums quick as hell and now they are creating a new one called "even more darkly" this is freaking fantastic.
Music changes just like people do. The progression of the music styles shows how good of a band Cradle of Filth really is. They continue to put out excellent music that makes me love this band so much more than the bands that continue to release the same album every two years instead of working on their sound and making something new and unique. Cradle of Filth keeps pushing the boundaries with their musical creativity, and I applaud them for it.

For me, CoF is utterly relaxing. Queen of Winter throned for example, has everything to ease out any pressure acumulated. No screams, no rampage nor crying - I just close my eyes, my head sunken in my arms and piece for piece, I am better.

I call this "Hardcore" Cradle lol. I feel like the drums in Cradle have a huge impact on how they sound sounds. In Dusk and Cruelty the drums really play around with all the other instruments so nicely and are very emotional and "musical". And the blast beats hit just right at the right times. Marthus (new drummer) is very skilled and was excellent on Godspeed (imo the last great CoF album) and added a lot to the sound and feeling of the CD with memorable and creative drum beats and cymbal playing. But in the last few CDs I feel like Marthus throws in his signature extreme blast beats so much. And the actual sound of his drums are quite loud and hard-hitting pretty much all the time.
All that aside, the writing and themes are still fantastic. I even like Dani's hair in this era. (Anyone remember short-red-hair Dani? LOL!)

I feel repulsed by their current style. Whats important - their music is still interesting and good in general! but when i look on what they produce now and compare it to their old stuff.... i feel like their first albumes were not from this world and not from the same people that live today. Dani is not the same man too. Like someone switched the real Dani with this one. I remember the emptiness i saw in his eyes on the latest concert in my country. I felt like he is not the person i saw and heard in the old records. I was hoping to see something in his eyes. I was never so dissappointed. Same with all the people under the stage. An empty crowd without eyes and faces.
