Watching this scene again, I realized this is a sad scenario for all parties involved (excluding Ming Hui). Zhao Lanzhi broke Yuan An’s heart, while Yuan An in her misery hurt and broke Mu Le’s heart for the last time. It’s sad to realize this would be the last she would ever see “Mu Le” again.
