I love this idea - and as I'm fumbling through putting together more and more decks, I find it's more and more important. I saw somewhere, don't remember where: someone had a black & white paper printed proxy of the card, with the name of the deck this copy of the proxy is in. He swaps the paper proxy out with the card in the binder to play - so if he ever skipped cleanup after a game, and is trying to pull it from the binder on the next game, he knows which deck that card is in.
Nice collection man!!
Really a underrated channel, I‘m happy that I found it. Like the organization in the binder. To keep the table of content in the deckbox instead of the binder May make sense! Otherwise really great
Nice! Loved this!
Gonna start picking up stuff to start my own
Underrated channel
I should definitely have a staples binder, but it would probably be mainly full of proxy staples (cough, gaeas cradle, cough)
Lol that’s what I do, but high quality proxies that look real.
I've been working on something like this. I do like having different sleeves for my decks though.
That's a really interesting system, I'm not sure if it would work for me because I have different coloured sleeves. But how do you deal with adding more cards to you staples binder if you don't have any more room between sections?
Fortunately new staples are relatively rare. The video doesn't show it, but I'm only using about 2/3 of the pages of the binder
Very nice system. I am considering something similar. Couple of questions. Have you considered including proxies into the actual deck instead of leaving the deck at sub 100 cards? Or having the Table of Contents in the deck instead of the binder? How do you decide to include a card in the binder >$20 >$50 or other?
I sleeve a backwards card and insert a slip of paper with the card name written on it.
Do people organize by mana cost?
What’s the biggest number of swaps in a deck? Getting worried I’ve overdone some things I consider binder worthy
Just seeing this video, if it helps at all, I think I would consider it binder worthy if you absolutely don't want to buy another one for each deck you want it for. Wooded Foothills is good for the binder, Command Tower wouldnt be; even though it likely goes in every deck, it's cheap enough you should just buy one for each deck to save some hassle.
I think I may start a binder for this myself now, even though I'm light on decks anyway- I usually keep red in most of the decks I play, so this would help feeling like i have to choose one deck or the other.
My heart broke when you scuffed up the bottom border of that LEV taking it out the sleeve 😫😫😫😫
It was already scuffed, take a closer look at it before he takes it out
Make some more videos my guy
I wish I could upload a pic of what this video inspired me to build the last six months 😂. Have a 360 page lands staples binder and a 500 page all other staples binder. Able to make all kinds of decks without buying more than one copy of most cards
