    What an unbelievably desirable car. Looks like a very sharp piece of ceramic.

    My initial thought was I don't like the shape... I grew to really like the car as the video progressed! I have a photo from 1960 of myself at 2yrs old sitting on my Dads 1a so I've always been interested 😊 👍

    I think it is 99% perfect, just not sure of the rear lights. Stunning outside and so luxurious, classy and beautiful on the inside. Still not keen on the middle seat having the fixed head rest. It makes the middle seat look like an after thought.

    Absolutely fantastic , love it and I’m only a recent RR convert. You can almost hear the Bentayga sales nose diving.

    The headlights in question are blinding people to the max need to bring the alignment down to low beam as it seems as if they are on high beam.

    Does this Range Rover (my dream car) have hybrid and automatic driving and have to Connect with WiFi or solar panels?

    overall the design retains the range rover DNA. It looks futuristic and up to date, however I was saddened by a few things. First the rear design, it's clean and extremely minimalist, but it loses that aggressive look of the headlights that we loved so much. The simplicity we expected in the interior was transferred to the exterior where it fails to evoke the same feeling as the previous model, at least it retains the vertical design and that's appreciated. Thank goodness they kept the split tailgate (otherwise i would have had a heart attack). i would have expected leather seats as standard (as in the previous model's accessories). on the interior, there is a very fine quality of materials and good colour shading. but again the design baffles me. the interior always valued minimalism, and now especially in the doors they overloaded it with intrusive lines that mess up the design, it makes me too much visual noise. the seats that filled me with expectations in the concept turned out to be common without surpassing the previous version. and now the biggest blunder (if the rear design is not already one by itself), to place 3 rows of seats? seriously? i love dscovery 7 seats but.... was it necessary in a range rover? when the l405 was launched in 2013 i still remember my first impression: 4 individual seats, the rear ones separated by a full console: that was a real jet, it created the feeling of exclusivity and individual space. but now we will have to stop at every bus stop to pick up people? seriously? the double screen of the previous model looked very beautiful and perfectly harmonious with the T design. now it looks like it's glued on. as if they forgot the screen when they finished the design...and bam! inserted in two minutes. i think the big breakthrough is in what you can't see. engines, technology and many other things, but precisely what you can see and what we loved so much, remains at 80%. i can no longer say "the best just got better".... it remains the same, but has subtly deviated.

    Future Proof infotainment 😏. A bit like my 2016 Discovery Meridian system that can't even play WAV files from a USB stick. Not even 'present proof'.😐 And LR pricing is getting crazy. And all that wood trim is going to date quickly.

    @Horizon301. Před 2 lety +3

    It’s all good and well however the pricing is essentially 100k. That’s not worth it at all when you can just get a vehicle from Aston Martin or Bentley which is more premium

    • @dkpirie
      @dkpirie Před 2 lety +2

      Both of those SUVs are considerably more expensive....!!! Also the Range Rover will out perform both of them on any off road situation. Also compared to those two models, I think the new Range Rover is extremely competitively priced.

    • @Horizon301.
      @Horizon301. Před 2 lety

      @@dkpirie not when you buy used they aren’t, and at that point it will be cheaper to own as this will depreciate instantly. Still a far better vehicle and brand. And people don’t take cars that cost this much off road, thats why the new defender also won’t be used as it now costs 60k compared to the 10k ones farmers used to rag around. The Range Rover isn’t any better than an S Class or 7 series, just a bit less in an SUV form yet it still costs 20,000 more. And compared to the sport, it’s 30,000 more. That starts at £64,000. I don’t see how this is competitive pricing at all. I would take an X7 at 70k which it comforts with and be done with it all. Better quality and technology. Sure this has an appeal, but not with that much of a markup

      @@Horizon301. that’s not really a like for like comparison, second hand will always be cheaper. The Aston Marin DBX new purchase price is a more telling comparison starting at nearly £160k.
