Went from laughing at the most realistic dialog when yelling at the cat to panicked because of this very real danger 😭😭😭😭
Samuels definitely a time traveler
Damn man I legit teared up at the ending lol though anything related to drug addiction usually hits hard for me
I can relate Mantiscore
Ditto.
Same yooo totally prob felt the same feeling at the end
But we do recover 🎉❤
same bestie sammmeeeeee. I need to go back to rehab lmao
Me too, and unfortunately the domestic violence part as well. From seeing my step dad hurt my mom, to growing up and involving myself in their fights to get him off of her. Even when at 13 or 14 I realized that when I would help her and he would give up/try to leave she would use that to attack him from behind (idk if that's right or wrong, nor did I than. All I know is the reason I had been choking him from behind was for IT TO STOP, nothing more...... still turns my stomach thinking of it) to being married, having 3 children with someone who ONLY stopped abusing me was cuz I took our kids left the state of Alabama and took off to my mom's house in NJ, and their DV laws are SOOOOOOO much better and more better and more fierce until he finally (hate admitting that) passed from a blood clot when he was 38 and I was 28
This is not how I expected the story to go/end, but I'm glad it did.
When doing laundry at night make sure to look out for the Womb Ripper!!!!!
Blood Wash reference
Thankfully, this time it was just the much more easily dispatched Sigma Strangler
@@NothingnessNowhere I mean it had to be done lol and it is a great game.
@@vanessaashford9203 Thank God for that, at least he is going to stay dead when he dies lol
Too many people have no choice but to stay in bad situations because they have nowhere safe to go. There has to be more shelter for those who are suffering from domestic violence.
To many false accusations....
I no longer will listen to the BS....
Or donate towards it...
@jonjacobjinglehimmerschmid3798 weird... reaction... (?) Is that part of the story? Cause, if so, I would rather avoid story altogether!?
@@jonjacobjingleheimerschmid3798 yeah no, that's not why women's shelters aren't funded lmao, this is a problem that only exists in the minds of pathetic losers who spend their entire lives on social media, or those who've been "accused", probably not falsely. Touch grass
it's because most social services of any sort, especially those for vulnerable groups, are something that the government here in the US has decided should be put almost entirely into the hands of private organizations, which are either going to be for-profit (and you know, profit incentivized institutions are *sooo* well known for their kindness and generosity toward others lol), or non-profits that depend on charitable donations in large part (and are thus constantly struggling for money). I am kind of making the assumption that you're American here, as this is the main first world country that really has this problem.
@@jonjacobjingleheimerschmid3798 You're right that there are too many false accusations, roughly 4-8% of the reported accusations are estimated to be false and those lies lead to people like you making incorrect assumptions. What's even more frightening is that it's estimated that 50 to 72% of domestic abuse goes unreported. There are many reasons for that but lack of resources and fear of not being believed are two big ones. People can condemn false accusations without denigrating actual victims.
Very, very good. I very much enjoyed this story. Excellent writing, great plot, and of course perfect narration as always🎉
That was a pretty good story. Very well written. The twist was awesome. Good job Sammy.
Samuel some sort of guardian angel? Or something taking the form or body of an old friend to protect her.
I was switching to earbuds and heard “waffles,” and I immediately thought, “Shit Waffles is back again!? Even though that didn’t happen, I
L🎃VED it!
I used to work 2nd shift and I went to the laundromat after work but they at least had video cameras
Why was the cat not called Shit Waffles? I remember that name fondly from the possessed doll series (hope we get more of that! Loved that series)
Thumbnail Image- He(it?) is the reason why you should never visit local late-night laundromats.
The real horror was MC's ex.
I really enjoyed this one. It touched a lot of old, deep, sad places, and I felt myself saying "nope.. yup.. exactly" a lot, so well done to both author and narrator.
Yeah landromats are always a bad idea lol.
Im not crying ur crying! This was such a good story with an amazing twist
Agree.
I didn't even think 24/7 laundromat were a thing, let alone a late night one 😶
Yep got two in my town.
Here in NYC almost all laundromats are 24/7
Really? Theres tons in my country
Doesn't need to be a creepypasta, this is good advice generally 😂
So guardian angels hangout at laundry mats at 3am ✅
The hash slinging slasher?
What a sad story...
The stuff you poor ladies have to deal with
:(
🤢🤮
@@michaelpaliden6660 It's gross that I realize the constant dangerous situations women can just walk into? Okay creep
Aren’t you a good boy 🐶 Your pandering empathy is so cringy 🤮
@@stripe801some people are lunatics. What you’re saying is a reality, but some guys just don’t care or don’t believe it. Maybe because they are the type of guy women have to worry about
@@couchman-sw6jy Exactly.
'Shit-Waffles' I miss you. 😢
That was sooo good! Thank you
This was an excellent story that turned out to have a surprise twist! Instead of a grimy street crime, we have a guardian ghost coming to the defense of old friend. He saved her in more ways than one: the first of course, in disposing of her murderous boyfriend, but the second was to make her think about her choices and to make better ones in the future. Hopefully, in saving his old friend, Sam found his own peace.
The reminds me of an old tv show from years ago. It took place in an old diner that was not what it seemed to be. Run by a man who might have been the devil, or an angel, or something else entirely. Some of the customers who came into the diner were the souls of the newly dead. They were given the chance to change something, or to take some action, that would give them peace. Some of the stories had the departed souls doing something to save other people. That's what this story reminded me of.
The story is excellently told and superbly narrated!
"Waffles, no!!"
Waffles: "Waffles, YES!!"
Excellent story this one was dark
Amazing story. Myself & my mum loves it. For all his human flaws Sammy was like a guardian angel. I just hoped they could of met again....
That ending 😢
For once, the ghost is benevolent (albeit morally-questionable in his services)!
I was thinking the same.
Every person is morally questionable if you know them. That's what makes them interesting.
Loved the trajectory this of this story’s ending.
Aywase amazing 👏 thanks MCP!!
F-N asome story. 2 thumbs-up. : )
Awesome story ❤❤❤
im literally eating waffles rn
MCP I have a waffles His name is Oreo. He’s not a bad kitty but he’s a trip. He hides in plain sight when he’s the only one who knocked down all the Knick nacks off my tables. He digs up every seed as soon as they’re planted. He’s got a cast because he was brutally attacked by the puff cat next door. Smokey the cat is a evil cat. I love your narrations.
Awesome!
Very cool!
Laundry-mat
I go from not being able to hear it to screaming in my ear wtf
Any updates on tales from the gas station volume 4 audible book?
that was dark but at least it had a interesting ending
I would have taken waffles to the laundry mat.
I got a lot of respect for you. We're in a weird place.
I used to have a cat that I saved from a sewer drain named Waffles.
Who name sewer Drains
Guardian Angel 😢🖤
Honestly short stories aren't usually this good
Don’t come to school tomorrow
Hi Mister.
The title is misleading. It should be entitled, "Why You Should Always Go to Your Local Laundromat at Night."
A nothingburger.
❤
Tell me why a story called 'samuel came from a strange place ' by Jordan grupe is up next
This is why I don’t approach women and talk to them randomly. The stuff people deal with. Maybe the guy was a nice guy and finally snapped.
This was a great story. The writer has talent!
Yeah, definitely not a *huge* red flag that your first thought upon hearing about (fictional, and fairly classic, unambiguous) domestic abuse is "maybe he was a nice guy who finally snapped". You're definitely doing the right thing by avoiding talking to women "randomly" if this is your thought process, you should probably consider expanding "randomly" to "just literally in any situation ever", for our sakes
If he was a genuine nice guy, he wouldn't have ever hit her.
Ur not a good guy if hitting your partner ever crosses your mind in an argument. You don't just snap. He wasn't a good person.
Maybe more women should arm themselves and be thankful that they live in a country that allows that. With our lower strength and stamina, it is the intelligent, rational thought process.
That would really help their paranoia as men have been and continue to be the vast victims of street crime.
As shown in the story, most abuse and violation comes from a person the victim knows...
@@ace_of_cups4096 Nah I don’t mean him. I meant the other guy lmao
@@vanessaashford9203Jesus Christ, who hurt you?

Yippie !!!!
That must have been one hell of a slap to get marks from knuckles!!!! Damn, that would have knocked her face clean off.
Maybe you meant bitch slapped 😂
Woohoo.
It always baffles me why laundromats are a thing in the USA. Probably due to bad piping, or whatever. In my country even very small apartments have washing machines. To think that I would have to go somwhere else to just do my ordinary laundry is just so alien to me. Sure, we have specialized services here that offer laundry, but they are only used for difficult tasks, like to clean a suit or whatever, not to wash a bunch of t-shirts. This and checks is something that is so popular in the US popculture, and mostly alien to the rest of the world (every time I hear a check in the US tv series or a mocie I think WTF, is it set in 1970's or something? Nope, modern times :D)
That's exceptionally weird because in my experience only old people use checks in the US. Anyone I their 30s and younger use cards or apps.
In america laundromats are the only way for some people to clean clothes. Some apartments just don’t have washing machines, and people with homes might not be able to afford one. I’m very grateful for them
Nothing to do with bad pipes my non American friend lol sometimes there's no washer/dryer wherever you are as the person above said... Sometimes it's even faster than at home. The washer/dryer at the laundromat are usually waaaayyy bigger and faster 😊❤
That's the thing about abusive relationships; they never start out that way.
Those kinds of people know how to work the "nice, calm, gentle, charming" angle. They put up that façade for everyone; partners, friends, family, coworkers. Then when they start to show their true colors (the manipulation, the domination, the aggression) they've convinced both their partner and everyone around them that it's the partner's fault. And these people can come from anywhere; friends, family, romantic partners, regardless of gender.
The true key here is isolation and a lack of self worth. The main character had the self worth to immediately recognize what was happening, knew who was at fault, drop the relationship, cut every time to him (block contacts & quit the job they both possible worked at) and GTFO. Her MISTAKE was not going to her friends and family, much less the cops, out of "embarrassment". And, should Samuel not have stepped in, would have resulted in the worst case scenario.
