This was really cool, people don't usually do these super long-term updates! It was great to see how you successfully propped all of these cuttings.
Aw thank you so much! I’m glad you liked it 🤩
I so appreciate you document the process. There are youtubers I follow, who's content I like, but at best, we only get the before and after.
I follow indoor growers to learn. You are an inspirational teacher ❤.
I appreciate your honesty in telling us you're not sure what went wrong and your process of elimination for an educated guess.
Wow, your flame prop was 100% success! Nicely done Kevin. Thanks for sharing!
Aw thanks for watching always 💚🥹
I think this the best types of your content: long term updare propergations. ❤❤❤❤❤. I can never have enough them.
In addition to really enjoying this detailed planty content (and hats off to the long-term documentation of this propogation project!!) ... I am so excited to see that album display on the wall complete with no gaps! Love that! :)
Hahahhaa omg right soon I promise 🤣🫣
Thank you! These time lapsed prop videos are my absolute favorite!! Much appreciated❤
Oh yayyyyy ☺️
such a great video. I love long propvids with updates and the burle Marx flame is one of my favorite plants :D
Oh yay I’m glad you liked it 😀
The claws!!❤❤❤
THE CLAWS
My Thai con too cut is in Leca and roots are sitting in some water. She is very happy.
They are gorgeous!!
Amazing! They are
Thank you so much for this video! I love videos over time. I just chopped up my monstera albo and very much enjoyed knowing I am not the only one that had to suffer through getting the moss of the moss pole roots recently 😂
Hahahaha omg the mossss so annoying!
Dang that’s a gorgeous plant
“Raise the roof, cause the roof is on fire! With the Burle Marx flame! let that mf burn!” 🔥 (song lyrics from the 80’s 90’s for those that don’t know)
Omg rightttt
That’s what the fertilizer burn looks like on mine.
I was bad, I stole a BUTTERknife from our restaurant, ran across a busy road, and HACKED off a section of giant pothos vine while in Hawaii!! Yup, chopped, bagged, and FLEW back home to Canada!! Don’t tell!! Brought a ton of seeds too!! Lolol
Such incredible info ❤
Such a gorgeous plant. I'm adding it to my wish list. I love all in one update videos even though im sure this is such a massive amount of work.
Aw thank youuu 💚
Excited for these to be somewhat affordable in… years 😅
Nice!! Im taking notes, I have BMF baby on the way and I can't WAIT!!!!!
YAAASS
Congrats!
I would seriously need a nap after all that cutting and propping 😆
Hahahhahaha
Awesome updates! What a turn out!
I know I’m so excited! 😆
“3, 2, 1, chop” reminds me of when a nurse counts down before administering a shot or something else unpleasant. 😂
Haha definitely where I get it from 🤣
A mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide can help with soil or water prop to prevent root rot. It's good for eliminating or decreasing fungus gnats.🌿
that plant is so pritty and those rooots are so satifing i want one so bad i cant get one off u im in the us love this video
Have you looked into nutrient lock out? I learned a lot about semi-hydro from you and the leca queen. But I have been doing a lot more research and nutrient deficiencies can happen and look like this when theres too much of a certain nutrient, or its imbalanced. Over fertilization can cause deficiencies because some nutrients cant be uptaked. Something to look into. Im not a pro on what it could be. Just thought that it could be a possibility 😊
Hi Kevin, I love propergating in moss, but OMG, when it's time to repot . The time consuming , mess is too much .
It’s levitating 😂
LOLOLOLOLOLOL 🤣🤣🤣
love it !
Aw thanks ☺️
This has been on my wishlist for a long time, same as you I'm in loooove with the leaf shape but...tell me about the overall growth habit?
🦞Claw tastic!
YAASS
When i propped my bmf last year, only 2 out of 5 survived
Is there a vent or any drafts where you had the plant when the leaves were yellowing? Maybe that's why it was just up top?
Where can i get that microscope you were using to look on your phone for pests?
Hi Kevin! Love your videos! Where do you get your lechuza pon? It’s currently out of stock on their website 🥲
yay🎉
YAASS
Nice flames! Are you slowly getting out of using leca?
Thanks! And I’m trying my best to keep it 50/50 pon/leca but it’s leaning more to pon these days ahah
so were the petioles so long due to the excessive fertilizer too? They seem too long to me especially if the plant was getting plenty of light.
Also, I wonder if this also explains why the leaves lost their fenestrations.
They are long because the leaves have a much smaller surface than other monsteras, so the plant has adapted to reach for light and to separate the leaves.
However, there's a possibility the plant can take more light. It's an issue of gradual light increase and trial and error.
I'm Colombian. Monstera abound in my country. They can take far more light than people imagine. Just make sure the transition is gradual.
