knorp immediately looking at the pitch speed any time he strikes out is hilarious. He about gives himself whiplash with how fast he turns around.

Knorp is without a doubt the smartest player in MLW. That catch and throw to second to keep Daniel at first - even up big - shows Knorp's mind is always working. Incredible play.
That was seriously a dot too like the form and perfect throw isn't easy he made it look smooth af and the fielding by schema and him were some of the best plays I've seen
Without a doubt. Not just that throw from home to second, but he hit a single that went over Whalen in left field. Jimmy IMMEDIATELY ran towards second knowing that Whalen's first instinct was gonna be to throw home. 9/10 players take the single. Jimmy got the easy double. Insane.
Kyle's musical choices in game 2 were fantastic. At the 13:35 mark the music had been triumphant. The Eagles are flying and on their way to the NLCS. But with the final out of the 2nd inning, it goes to silence as the D-backs come to bat. Then there is an eerie silence for almost a minute. Suddenly, after the Heath walk, a menacing beat drops at 14:31. The following music plays out as if the D-backs are coming and their comeback is inevitable. Chef's Kiss
It's a bittersweet effect for me these days. 😅
The late season collapse by the eagles is honestly really sad. As a cobra's fan I hope they do better next year.
I honestly thought the combo of Schultz and Allen on the mound would be unbeatable. Knorp is just a game wrecker.
@@slimwest41 When Knorp gets some help at the plate, the Dbacks are almost unstoppable. Heath and Schema didn't hit crap all year. When they hit, the Dbacks win.

After Allen hit the HR in game 2 to go up 3-0 I thought this series was over and done. Heck of a job by Knorp and the Dbacks from that point on. Wow.

Props to Dallas. He had a hell of a season. Sometimes the postseason is just too much.
Thought the Eagles got a bit too high when up and too low when down...emotions kind of got the better of them. Great comeback by the D-Backs rounding into form at the right time.
Another excellent series. This league couldn't get any better. The personalities, the production, the music, the pace. I literally wait all week for Friday at 4.

What a season from Dallas. Came into the league and quickly took it by storm. His transition into the SP1 for the Eagles was smooth to say the least. Hard to say if it was a “breakout” season for him considering his ROY win last year but he really put the league on watch with his often dominant pitching and terrific offensive numbers as well. When he was on, he was ON. Good defense to boot and you can tell how much he cares. Seemed his emotions got the best of him in game three but I can’t imagine just how frustrating it must have been. I probably would have struggled mightily in that same scenario. Definitely great to have a veteran like Dan alongside to help him improve even more. Anyways, Dallas is a total package of a player and I wish him nothing but the best going into next season. I understand how disappointed and even shocked he may be by the outcome of this series, but there’s absolutely no reason to hang his head. Did huge things for this Eagles team and there’s no way they would have gotten this far without him.
You can tell Jimmy came prepared for this game. Some of the wildest pitching from the kid.
As soon as Heath and Schema contribute at the plate these guys turn back into championship material
Man I hate that for Dallas Allen. What an insane regular season on the mound only for it to fall apart at the very end. Just like my Atlanta Braves :(
Congrats to the D-Backs. They certainly ARE just as talented as any team and could easily come back from a 5-10 season to win it all. Its amazing how both baseball and wiffle ball are both sports of momentum. Getting hot at the right time is all that matters in the post season.
D-backs defense is so good. You rarely see a botched play or wild throw from anyone, and they always know where to go with the ball. Then add the diving catches and highlight plays from Knorp. Next round is going to be so fun to watch with Robles and Knorp. This league is becoming so entertaining man, great job!
20:41 has to be one of the greatest plays in mlw history to date. Absolutel yinsane play. Knorp is such a good player. His d-fence unmatched by anyone else in mlw. (except for maybe robles)

Have you considered adding a pitch count for the current AB and a balls/Strikes indicator in the scoreboard graphic. I think it would be interesting to see how much the batter has battled during the AB. Still loving the league. Keep being awesome!
LCS Round with not a Schultz in site!? Is that a first? Gutted for Dallas. He should be looking at top 3 finishes for Cy & (arguably) MVP with his batting title and mound dominance. Worst time to lose the zone but kid has MANY great seasons ahead of him. Keep your chin up Dally (and Eagles team). Young and exciting squad

The eagles were up 3-0 in the second inning and up 1-0 in the series and the diamondbacks came back, this was for sure one of the most exciting playoff series I’ve ever seen

This is amazing. I love how this started with 4-5 kids playing wiffle ball in a front yard. The places Kyle and Tommy have taken this league is incredible. I’m so hyped for this series!!
There are too many things to say about how astounding and ridiculously great a wiffle ball player Jimmy Knorp is. Just put on a clinic in this series and carried his team in his play, but I’m sure also in his calm and collected demeanor as well. I’d love to know what he told his guys after game 1. This guy is a great leader and brings the best out of all his teammates.
This years NLCS and ALCS are just awesome match ups, what an amazing show/performance/treat we are all in for over the next three weeks, I really think it's going to be special, especially with how much is on the line this year #MLWRoadToSoFi

Kyle's commentating is just 1 of so many things that continue to improve and impress in MLW. Well done.
One thing that I think is underrated on the editing of this channel is the subtle background music changes to make things more dramatic. It really pulls you in and I love it.
Knorp is easily one of the most likeable players in the league because no matter what he always just seems to be having a good time. Its hard to not enjoy that.

Allen was pitching angry that last game, especially after the first half of that first inning. He's been Rock solid all year, but in my opinion he let his emotions get the best of him

Wow. This is my Dback team I've been seeing glimpses of all season, and middle of game 2 they came alive. Knorp was incredible in the field, 3 pop up catches and that throw from home to 2nd was a rocket. Also game 3 was lights out on the mound. Great series to the Eagles.

Man, I love both of these teams so much, it was hard to pick who to root for. But Jimmy Knorp. Gosh, he’s just my favorite player, I can’t help but root for him every time. Great series, can’t wait to watch my D-backs the rest of the postseason, and can’t wait to watch my Eagles bounce back next season.

I love D-Back Wiffle Ball because they learn their opponents weaknesses through each series and they try their hardest to capitalize on that. They love doing this especially in the postseason to get going. Knorp is also a genius combined with superhuman athleticism.

Been diambacks fan from the beginning trying to go back to back.
You'd think these boys would learn by now, just hold on to the ball lol Also in game 3, Daniel needed to bat 3. Him, and Zach were clearly seeing the ball the best. Needed to get more ABs for those two to get some runs moving across.
Was also thinking that. MAYBE Blade in the line up too since weve seen him hit good before, but yeah. I would have Benched Landon no offense against him.

Yeah, Dallas throwing that ball away to give them the lead straight up lost them the series because they were just so dejected after that and never recovered. Dan needed to start Game 3 since Dallas was rattled. And yeah, no reason to bat a 5 man lineup when your 4 5 are auto outs the whole series.
@@ToadKart64 They have Dan figured out. I can see that knuck drop coming as soon as he starts his windup. Landon should have been the game 3 starter. Nasty stuff and Dallas didn't have his usual form.

People may have wrote him off in the beginning of the year, but it's pretty evident now that Knorp is the best player in the league still and will continue to be for a while. He may not be the most lights out pitcher but his offensive power, defense, and especially his baserunning make him immeasurably valuable to this team.
It’s Knorp’s world and we are simply living in it.

I think the frustration was definitely getting to him, especially in game 3. Experience in big games will be the fix to that kind of behavior

Damn the eagles folded. I’m so confused with Dan’s decision to keep Dallas and the fact that they didn’t try to use Landon who did well against a good Preds squad. This Dbacks team is still very good and could even take on the mallards. I still can’t get over the fact that the eagles were 8-1 by the all star break yet are out. There like the Yankees of this year if they lose to the Astros.

Shocked that of last year's world series teams, the Dbacks have gone further in the playoffs than the Wildcats.
What a turn if events for the Eagles. Started 8-1 with a 36-3 run differential in the first half, and then l went 2-4 to end the series, didn’t win the 1 seed, and then lost in the division series to the 5-10 D-Backs. This game is unpredictable man

Exactly Jonah definitely lost a bit from last year they were a unit last yr reminded me of the cubs in 2016 to 2017 they were easily the best team last year then they came back down to earth. If the mallards can keep the walks down. When the dbacks work counts and get base that's when their power comes into play.

WOWWW!!! I honestly thought the DBacks were done when they got down 3-0 in game 2, Dallas Allen was on! But all the sudden fell apart, and Knorp with some CLUTCH base running. Dallas then lost his confidence after that.
