hell yeah i can now witness dust 1 dust 2 and dust 3 in a single bo3
I also am not excited about Dust 2 man christ. OP was very CT sided yes and needed some changes but fuck this removes a 4 lane map with a unique round flow for the literal most boring 3 lane map imaginable
I agree dust 2 sucks. Why not add Train or Cache and why take out Overpass in the first place. Just add them

@@hayden0959 Cache is still in the earlier stages of being redone, since it's not a valve made map. No idea on train, but hope it gets a remake soon.
At this point Valve is trolling us. This is deliberate, malicious conduct to remove the old school dedicated player base and just make this a giant aimbot cheater skin scam fest.
Dust2 is a great map as a lot of competitive maps implement the 3 lane structure that originated from Dust2. There are areas of the map with close, medium, and long range places to duel for variety and multiple gun selection. My one critique is that it's a very spawn based map and if you don't get the right ones you can't really take long control early in the round on T side.
Apparently Dust 2 is for the Shanghai major for newer watchers to have a familiar map from a game called Crossfire or at least that's the theory. Not my theory some random guy on Reddit but it is a good one.
Everyone asking for cobble, train, cache, tuscan, new maps. And we get D2...

@@dokja7237 same for train and cache. Tuscan has also been ported if they want to use the csgo version. But the problem is, valve usually do maximum 2 changes to the map pool each year. Usually max 1. So it will take long time until we get a good map pool now.
I am a view model fidget spinner, something I do when im spectating or rotating, now that button in go is used for map zooming
I don't mind Dust II but man... it's only been out of rotation since Anubis which was only a little over a year ago. Would've loved to see more creativity with something like cobblestone or a new map.

I know there’s mirage haters but isn’t a solved map a good thing? That would mean the map is proven to be good right? Or would you just prefer that all maps in the pool aren’t solved yet and once they are they get removed?

The reason you are sick of them could be because you played Mirage and Dust 2 way too much compared to other maps? Or maybe their layout is too simple

Why would you redraw when switching hand? Just add a new animation or something but you could still shoot.
The best map pool update they ever made was the last one, -dust2 +anubis
This challenges -cache +vertigo for the worst map pool change since the start of CSGO and that is coming from someone who doesn’t hate vertigo and isn’t the world’s biggest cache fan
Can we get a whole new map pool, been playing the same maps forever and we lost variety when they removed cache and train going into CS2. every other game in premier is mirage, now its going to be 50/50 playing mirage/D2
Mirage and Dust2 are popular for a reason and they're both very balanced maps. If you're tired of those maps Q for other maps in competitive matchmaking. A lot of you getting burned out on playing certain maps should consider if you're burned out from Counter-Strike in general and should look for other games to play.
I'm gonna take advantage of them removing Olofpass by investing in some souvenirs before the sale ends. I doubt they'll be worth as much as the Cobblestone ones but I should be able to make a couple of bucks off them in time.
Give us an operation to test out new maps, dust 2 is desperate
200IQ move from valve re: Dust2. I reckon they have the most VAC data from this map so they've put it back in premier to cross check their shit before implementing VAC live properly. Lets hope they're cooking
I never liked overpass but inferno needs to go man, and idk if putting dust 2 back is also a solution
There HAS to be a map out there made by anyone that is somewhat competitive. Anubis took 3 years to be where it is today but seeing dust 2 back is not it.
Dust 2 is more of a casual map rather than a competitive map for pros to play against
Old cobble on source 2 is the solution but we’re gonna have to wait even longer 😔

i played 3 premier matched last night; ~10k rating.. all D2 and everyone was excited about it.. Im not a huge fan, but I think the lower rated casual community loves d2. OP is wild though
they dont.. its only because the next major is in china... and dust2 is REALLY POPULAR there.. so ofc they gonna bring dust2 in major.
Dust2 is the most iconic Counter-Strike map. Many maps have copied its 3 lane structure. Just because it appeals to casual and lower skilled players doesn't mean it's a bad map.

Just because it appeals to casual and lower skilled players doesn't make it an inherently bad map. It is a very spawn based map that can be limiting on T side but other than that it's a fun and balanced map.

it was possible in csgo i remember launders had a video about it. not sure about cs2

I can't believe mirage and vertigo stay and overpass is gone lol This makes 0 fucking sense. Dust2 is ruined cause of mid .. everyone just rushes lower and mid now.
All valve had to do was:
Maintain the anti cheat from GO (or slightly improve it)
Not add back dust 2 and remove over pass

Dust2 is a goated map and was inspiration for several other popular maps. It's a very balanced map and has all ranges of gun fights which gives aim duels variety unlike other maps. Besides being limited certain rounds because of spawn positions it's a fun pug map. It's a perfect example of how simple and plain layouts play much better than fancy and complicated maps that try to have too much stuff going on. If you want to play maps that require more team coordination that's fine but it's honestly the perfect pug map.
