Hello, recently went to Disney, this isn’t always true, it was pretty much the same wait I noticed for both, it just depends on how many people are actually waiting in line.
I also have went, to Disney recently. This isn’t true sometimes. But I have found for some rides it was true. Like for avatar.
I went to a star wars line and it was like 80 minute wait but if you went to the left it was like a 5 so we got to go like 7 times

If you always go left and it is exactly the same most of the time then it literally doesn't hurt you to go left anyways if it's exactly the same.
But on the small chance that it isn't the same that day or ride you'll get a bonus extra fast wait line if you do it. So what he said about always choose the left is correct until this becomes common knowledge

If you really want to cut your wait times down you'd take the single rider lines. Bc most families are trying to ride together there like a 75% chance you'll ride with at least 2-3 other people from your group
I did this with my parents at Disney last year and we cut total wait times by crazy amounts.
Same with universal studios, using the single rider line we got on the forbidden journey in like 10 minutes as opposed to 2 hours

No those are different i believe, and you can only ever go in those if you "reserve" your fastpass for that time of day so chances are youd never really see it full

tried this in Universal .. went to the left side .. got traumatized (because the left side was the more dangerous and faster one) and never went left side again

@@Asher_Anime123 god, it was the one in Universal Singapore and it was the ride with two lanes .. one on the right and one on the left, me and my cousin literally went "hey! the left line is empty let's go there!" we went and immediately regretted it because it was the faster and more difficult one. we literally went pale when we got out

@@kane3383iirc the only ride in Universal SG that has two lanes that are vastly different is the Battlestar Galactica ride because left is for Cylon track and right is for Human track.
The Cylon track is known amongst locals as the more 'fun' track because its faster and has more turns and loops, whereas the human track is a bit safer but still fun, just not as vomit inducing as the Cylon.
Personally I like Cylon more but I do get it, I once went at the very front and got a massive headache after due to being tossed around. It was fun in the moment but definitely regretted a bit afterwards haha.

As an Aussie, can confirm we go left, but I have met a few that naturally go right side for some reason, which makes things really awkward. Which is weird, because we drive on the left side.

If you want to skip the lines at any park disney or otherwise, take a friend who's in a wheelchair or on crutches. Instant fast pass and theyll just pop out of secret doors to usher your party to the front of the line once they spot you in person or on camera.
My dad cant stand for long periods of time or walk more than 50ft without needing to rest for like an hour so we'd always bring or rent a wheelchair and accidently found this out the first time we went. He said we need to take him there more often lol.

Just force yourself. You get used to it very quick
Remind yourself that if someone had died due to the ride or the ride had safety issues, the ride would've been closed. Therefore having rare chances of dying/injuries. 😊

Also on some days the foot traffic travels in a circle, so the crowds basically follow eachother around the park.
I was just at Disney world in Florida, there was only 1 line for normal park guests and only one line for lightning pass holders.

you ain't never go to Disney World any more because Ron DeSantis is going to crush everything of Walt Disney World in 2025 and turn them into bigger truck stops so your going have to come here to Disneyland California if you want to go to Disney park.

The best way to cut down on time in line at any theme park, is to arrive before it opens. When the gates open, go quickly to the biggest or newest ride. Also, during the last 30 minutes before closing, the lines disappear, and you can easily ride your favorite attraction over and over, sometimes without even getting out of your seat.

At some parks, if they are expecting a high-attendance day, they will put barriers a distance into the park, and will go ahead and process tickets/passes and let you in. You can't go terribly far, but you can certainly get a head start on the day.

The best way to cut down on wait time is to not go. When you realize that Disney systematically:
A) Removed the daily attendance cap
B) Practically gave away monthly passes to SoCal residents
C) Let the lines exceed 3 hours
D) Start charging to skip the line
Source: I used to work there. Daily park attendance numbers more than doubled on weekends and holidays.
I did this at disney tokyo yesterday. It failed all the time, like i tried this about 3-5 times

As someone who worked at disney world. This doesnt work anymore. Maybe 15 years ago but not anymore. Epcot, everyone goes left for speedrace, animal kingdome, everyone goes left for the pandora part of the park. Magic kingdom, people go left for pirates, mystery mine and hunted mansion. And at mgm left is the fastest way to galaxys edge.
Fun Fact: My favorite ride in Disneyland is the Indiana Jones roller coaster
When i was at disney last time we did this but we found that the ride operators favoured the right lane a lot more and let them through more frequently than the left line
This makes sense, left is also the fastest way to meet your maker on highways, except for countries who drive on the left side of the road.

I find that on Indiana Jones and the incredicoaster taking the right side never fails me. It’s my trick every time i go to the parks. I’ve actually heard that more people choose left when faced with the choice. Maybe it’s just one big mind game 😂

Islands of adventure: this is an exception, because the two most popular rides are in the back right corner of the park, but before their inception, the most popular ride flow was left around the lake
