Another great how-to video. Much appreciated!! In my car, there was another bulb in the top right empty gauge where the clock would go. Had to remove that gauge itself to change the bulb out since it wasn't accessed from the back of the cluster.

Great video! Did this a while back on my 87 El Camino. The LED's I used were polarity sensitive so I had to flip several lights around to get them all to work. Did you find the same with yours? Or did they work in both directions?
Nice! Polarity didn't matter on the ones I bought. They all worked on the first try, so I didn't have to switch them around. Thank you for watching 👊💯
I bought a Buick regal wagon 82 that sat for 20 years
Turned her on but the gauges on the dash and stereo don’t seem to work!

Start by checking the fuses. Then do what I did and take the cluster apart to chase down each wire.

Can you change the 83cluster to a 86 cluster
I'm sure you can. You just have to make sure the plug matches the cluster you're putting in. As in, the functions of the new cluster with the plug in the dash.
Why did buick if you order the clock radio they just left that space blank why couldn,t you order a factory tach oil presser gauge now we know one reason cutlass out sold the reagal the olds had optional rally pack even on 4 door models..

That model didn't come with a clock, so that is there to fill the void. My 3 1978 Regal Limited Editions have working clocks in that space. Most models came with a blank space where the voltage gauge is or temp. It just depends. Most base models had a vacuum guage a.k.a.(fuel economy needle)
