  • Apparently there are some sentiments that Jing Yuan is really bad for this MoC - Node 2. In my opinion Jing Yuan is NOT bad for this MoC and he does really well if you play him with the right supports.
The problem isn’t with Jing Yuan but instead with Sparkle and Fu Xuan because they either do not break enemies at all (like FX, due to the lack of quantum weakness) or lose their buffs due to the action forward mechanic (Sparkle).
However, when played in the right team the trotter actually becomes more of a blessing than a curse. You can tell by the enemy design, that the final boss on MoC 12 - Node 2 - was designed to be played with a Break focussed team. Mainly a team that would run Ruan Mei (even Robin works, though). This helps break the enemy faster and with Gallagher (and even Aventurine) you can ensure that all 3 of the Elites are broken at once and together. Once they are broken, a mini-nuke drops on them taking a large chunk of HP down AND these Elites take MUCH higher damage in the broken state. All of these things when played as intended help clear the node 2 faster.
Additionally you can also use the trotter’s action forward mechanic to your advantage in Ruan Mei/Robin teams. Breaking the trotter at the right moment can help Jing Yuan get 2 turns before LL without worrying about speed at all. It’s extremely comfy and FUN to play once you get a hang of it.
    To summarise:
The healers you can pick for Jing Yuan for faster clears are (all healers should preferably be hyperspeed, except for Aventurine):
    • Huo Huo
    • Aventurine
    • Gallagher
    • Luocha
And the supports that work well for him are:
    • Ruan Mei
    • Robin
    • Sparkle (she does work well with him in this MoC as well, she just require you to pay more attention to the game than normal) :3
    • Hanya/Asta
Of course, you can run whatever you like. But if you do need help with faster cycle clears, I hope I can help you with this post (and showcase). E2S1 Ruan Mei is not necessary for this run at all, although she definitely is very strong.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed watching this run :3

Maybe you could put RM E2S1 in the title... I was actually quite impressed all along and thought this was on E0S1 RM as well.
Apart from this, congratulations on beating the JY allegations; this aoe MoC is really good for him and I'm glad he's getting some play

Well, I don’t think I did anything remarkable here. There’s already tons of JYMs in the JYMs sub that have cleared node 2 with E0 Sparkle/Ruan Mei/Robin in 3 cycles. I personally have another run posted just before this one with Sparkle as well which takes 4 cycles. If I had Huo Huo that’d be a 3 cycle run too. So it’s truly not a remarkable run that only E2S1 Ruan Mei can pull off.
I usually mention all the eidolons and signatures on my 0-2 cycles which pretty much require E2S1 Ruan Mei to pull off. Otherwise I do not deem it necessary.
In any case, I will keep that in mind and mention the eidolons in the title. Thank you for watching. This video was made with the intention of helping Jing Yuan mains play this team easily within 5 cycles, not really for beating any allegations. Mainly against dispelling misinformation that is regurgitated everyday. Have a good day ahead! Again, thank you for watching!
