Environmentalists in Ghana warn that cutting down trees in major green areas such as the Atewa Forest could worsen climate change. The forest has become part of extensive mining and logging plans despite being a protected area.

What is the taxpayers money doing in this country ? How can the government go back to an act of the colonial rule which took all good Natural Resources in exchange of barely nothing, Is there no other ways of constructing our roads and other development than to endanger livelihood, destroy vegetation and water bodies so as wildlife. Indeed i second the Eco-conscious citizens and the Environmentalist to take this government to Court to show how they have protected forestry. #
