    Great tutorial and the cutest little block! I have quilted many years ago, but never did a pieced work. I did a lot of applique and quilting on plain blocks. I am excited to make this block as a mug rug or a table runner. Thank you!!

    Edge stitching is generally 1/8 and top stitching is 1/4 but the practice is still the same…I love your patient style of teaching… very clear and easy to follow 🥰

    Great tutorial. Lots of times before I turn right side out, I press the project and press the opening seams back so it’s easier line them up for top stitching.

    Hello lass, please excuse me saying, but if you cut straight across the middle horizontally first and then vertical through the center, then you will still have your diagonal stitched square with your stitching having given you where to cut into the final triangles. This might be an easier way for you to cut the 8 at a time, this nugget is curtsy of Jenny Doan, Missouri Star.
    I love your yellow flower with the orange check because it reminds me of a daisy or sunflower, beautiful cup mats that surely even my lot can see it's where you put a hot cup on and not on my polished wooden tables. Have a good, with crafty hugs, Norah, Glenochil, Scotland

    😊 I had so much trouble getting my points to line up! I cut all my pieces with my quilt dies and my Gemini. So it has to be sewers error.😂 . Hubby did bring me a cocktail.🎉

    Great tutorial, do you change your machine settings in anyway to do the actual quilting?

    • @StitchObsessed
      @StitchObsessed  Před rokem

      Thank you, Mary 💖 No, I don’t need to switch any settings when doing straight line quilting. On the other hand, if I had been quilting a larger project, I would switch out my 1/4” foot for a walking foot, but stitch length stays the same and the feed dogs don’t need to be lowered since they help feed the project through the machine. I hope that helps!
