@@GEO2004 I keep getting this error: "attributes.pm did not return a true value at -e line 165" Any help?? thanks!!
never got this error, may be it is related to computer settings, have you look at it using google search? may be you will find clues
Thankyou!
You're welcome!
Could you please post the text of the command line. That way I don't have to try to get it figured out and I can make edits that I need. Thanks.
Here, I did it myself.
-filename -gpslatitude -gpslongitude -gpsaltitude -csv -T -r -n D:\Test > output.csv
So sorry for the late response, I have been busy these days
I don't know why I type exactly the same command as you do, but I get all my results in just one column
is there any limiter between data in your result? maybe semicolon, comma, point or tab? if it is there, you can separate them into two columns using Ms Excel, Text to Columns from Menu Data
Nice video, thanks. I'd like to perform a second step, which is to convert the lat long in decimal values to state plane coordinate system northing and easting. Any ideas on how to efficiently do that?
There are many online coordinate converters who can do that, googling it, or maybe AI chatbot (google bard, chatgpt, bing AI and many others) can also helps you for that, I have started to frequently using them, and they are great for geospatial stuffs
@@GEO2004 I found a tool from National Geodetic Service. Thank you.
@@alexander0194 very nice
Hi! does it work with MP4 (video) too?
nope, this is only for images,
I tried this method, csv file generated. but the coloms filled with a --- symbol what shall i do now.

Sebelumnya terima kasih atas videonya, tpi knp file output csv saya isinya kosong yah ? file csvnya read only. Mohon bantuannya pak.
hello can somebody help me?? i want to ask something.
Just spill
I thought all you had to do would be to click details of the picture and find the longitude and latitude under gps?
Yeah imagine if you must do it for 5000 pictures, good luck with that
Can I do this in Rstudio
Never use rstudio, however, it should work if there are code library in rstudio that support the needed functions.
Hello, I hope you are well, a question, I have this data: drive.google.com/file/d/13ba_o-HABxZMMzwDHVV_fHMWxYSLHXpz/view. Each photo is without coordinates, how can I link to the exif of each photo the coordinates of the .dat file that is incorporated in that directory? In that link above are the photos and the .dat file, Thanks
cant download, the zip file is too large for me
@@GEO2004 Hello, thank you very much, I am attaching a smaller set of data: drive.google.com/drive/folders/15-DmazrV0pZbeUBqjzQgDLnyZi7_KBi8?usp=sharing the idea is to automatically append each coordinate to each photo using the file. dat attached, so that you can use it in coordinate photogrammetry softwares, thanks
Which software you want to use? If you want to use agisoft it has feature to import separate coordinate file (such as your .dat file) to the photogrammetric workflow as long as the .dat file stored photos ID or filename in it.
@@GEO2004 Hello thank you very much for your answers. Yes, the idea is to do it with metashape, however I am a neophyte in these topics, can you make a small video of the process with the .dat file that I attached in the previous data set? thank you very much, Eddison
