There’s just nobody else on earth doing what axell does. He’s a statistical anomaly, and completely the tony hawk of his sport. I never thought anybody would dethrone Travis pistrana as the resident freak of freestyle, but here we are lol. The bike is an extension of himself, it’s insane lol
You obviously dont know who tony hawk really was to skateboarding, but that is ok, most people dont. Yes he did the 900 first, but he really was just the industries poster child in order to market to the family household.
Now comparing Axel Hodges to Rodney Mullen would be much more accurate and respectful to Axel Hodges. Reinventing the entire way people do things, from the tricks, his style, and his way of marketing himself to fellow riders and not kneeling to industry standards.
Idk about dethroning Pastrana either. You obviously have never watched him? Axell is a bad dude and gnarly af, but he ain't even come close to dethroning the O.G. of freestyle.

all do respect to axell because he is. an insane rider but he would get smoked. If you have ever been to a local track and watched the pros ride they are so much faster than anyone and they have the endurance to ride for probably twice as long as axell. It would still be cool though

I have to say that axle is one of my favorite riders. His style keeps you engaged and the biggest reason hes one of my favorites is how humble he is. You don't see any other riders that will grab a fans phone and record himself jumping ramps. You also don't see any other riders that will just let a random guy jump on his super moto and roll a stoppie like he did to a friend of mine brian636 when they were in Florida. No other rider has shown that kind of humbleness at least none that I've seen and that's what makes him so fun to watch because you realize that he's just another human being. One that kills it on a dirt bike though. I'd like to see what he can do if I handed him my 04 636 stunt bike for a day or two!!! Lg
