- Squeezing in one last trip before the close season, I catch up with my buddy Dave and we head out in the cold and rain for one last back country mission.
Deep water, lots of rain and not many fish out makes fro hard work but the quality of the fish we find more than makes up for it.

Your 4K helps retains the detail of all the variations on the surface of the water. Will be awesome for capturing the fish on station and eliminate some of the pixelation. Looking forward to you stalking them with that rig in good light

Another great video and in even better quality on a larger screen. Thanks for posting Alex. Just got back from Montana after fishing for weeks for large browns. If anything, the flood ( almost historically high flow ) helped fishing... well, nymphing in my case. This may have been the best fishing in 30 years on that river. I'm heading back there in a couple of weeks for my 4th trip this year. While home I'll catch up on the videos you posted recently.

Why don’t you use a sinking or intermediate poly leader to get down??
If i can find the tip,, that’s what she said LoL 😂
A sinking ploy leader still wouldn’t get your flies down as well plus you could fish as deep due to the indicator having to stop where the poly leader starts. And it would sink the indicator too.
As a newbie, can you share with me why you use so many different pieces of line for your leader? Why remove the poly leader?
I think I talked about why I did that in the video..? Watch the Frida Filler on building a nymph rig and that will explain a lot for you 🤙
