This song takes me back to my early childhood years (this was the first song that I've ever heard and got stuck on to) that I'd always love to go back to but sadly I'll never get to go back to ever again.
I'm usually not one for modern "poppy" music, but you have to give her credit for having a really good voice and is a pro on the piano. This song has a great melody and all the players are great too.
_I just want to say that everyone who is at that concert is already over 30 years old because I am from that time and I am already 35 years old. Greetings from Caracas_
@wyatbroadcasting Nonetheless, they are both extremely talented pianists, singers, and song-writers. They are both beautiful too! I love the both of them! They are my favorite artists!
@wyatbroadcasting Yes she is, but she is still talented on the piano. I saw home videos of her playing advanced piano. She once played Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin. People think her chord progressions are too simple, but it's simple because she uses her diaphragm more full than Vabessa Carlton. Alicia Keys belts more high notes in chest voice than Vanessa Carlton that's why it's more simple. V.C.'s are more advanced because she sings more in a middle register and more simpler way.
She's amazing! but I've seen part 1 and part 2 of the video and the audiences reaction was sort of mixed between " I dont know this song " and " Im just here for A thousand miles ". Kind of fake if you ask me. I wish these people who were supporting her are STILL supporting her now, her voice has improved ten fold :)
As much as I love V, this isn't her best performance. Maybe she was sick, or just exhausted? Nonetheless, she ranks supreme among all other songstresses :)
And here's me thinking the ROCK AND ROLL hall of fame was intended for rock musicians. How nieve. She's a one hit wonder pop star, yeah its a good song, but wtf.
She's a platinum selling artist who has had multiple Top 40 and Hot 100 songs. She was performing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She's not in it. Take a look at the list of inductees starting with the very first class. It has never been exclusively rock and roll performers. It's spelled naive, not nieve.
@@soyboy2238 Right on, Soyboy22. Great performer, audience is in awe. Amazing performance, highlighted by all the people emotionally singing along to this timeless song!
The Best Song over the all Time.
Definitely up there. I mean, how old is this song? Yet it has a timeless quality to it. If she released this now, it would still be a hit.
Im soooo happy they kept the bells in at 2:44 !! Idk why, I just love that part for some reason, it sounds so pretty and kind of hidden.

As much as I love V, this isn't her best performance. Maybe she was sick, or just exhausted? Nonetheless, she ranks supreme among all other songstresses :)
Wrong. Great performance!
She had a chest infection. That's why her voice sounded like this.
KingBaller 1999 She sounded pretty beautiful to me.
Not my kind of music. Can’t sing like Whitney or Mariah Carey. Who’s a Whitney fan here in the comments? 🙌
Why comment then?
