You’re supposed to turn the dryer off , after the cool shot, before pulling out the curl! Curls come out much smoother and in tact 😁
The way to use the barrels and for it to grab on to the hair with a breeze is to let it do its job on its own as it should by starting from the end tip of the hair and not big pieces. You’re trying to do it from the middle or higher to the head and it’s not giving it the space it needs to grab without your help trying to wrap it. Leave it long enough and maybe higher heat for it to really curl and last longer.also you need to apply some mouse or spray it a little or anti frizz product before you start to curls it, especially on our type of hair.
Really appreciate this review since I think I have similar hair texture. Definitely want to try it out.

Thanks for the review. Mine is coming tomorrow, but from my research, others said to use the curler attachments when the hair is about 70% wet, styling mousse with hold in it and heat primer spray such as L'oreal PLI. I've also seen a hair curler hack where people put a velcro roller on the auto curlers and wrap the hair around and leave in to set.

Hi Melina! Thank you!! My voltaje converter is gigantic! I couldn’t possibly travel with it and not even sure it’s allowed. ☹️if you can buy one and leave it in Europe… maybe? Otherwise, maybe get a Universal hairdryer that’s more travel friendly.

I think the side you referred to as frizzy was the side you didn't use the smoothing attachment. Thevside you did use it was very smooth and shiny.
At 8:15 I evened out both sides.
