CZcamsrs be like "today I'll be showing you how to oil your machine. You need to oil the machine because blah, blah, blah..." Until the video is at least 10 minutes long.
i was confused why people thought he was sad, this is exactly how i would expect my brother to do a voiceover for a hair clipper lol. I think the guy just wanted to finish his food honestly, and I don't blame him
No you cannot. Please think of what Coconut oil does, when cooled down- it solidifies. We highly recommend Wahl Blade Oil as it is specifically designed for the longevity of your blade. Using other oil void the warranty.
A bit of hair clinging to the blades doesn't hinder performance or cause premature wear. Fast moving metal on metal contact without lubrication puts strain on the motor, wears on the blades, causes them to cut poorly and can make the blades too hot to use without burning someone.
Can someone please help me explain why my beard trimmer pulls the hairs and it hurts? Is it due to poor maintenance with my trimmer, or is it because my face has excess oil on it?
Other videos and the user manual have instructed to oil the sides/blade heels also. But those instructions are not clear exactly where. In this video side oiling isn't mentioned at all!
Hi. I want to know how much oil can put on some part of the body, because the body have a screwcap to put some oil but i do not know how much. Thank you very much.
No it does not. It lubricates the blades to ensure the blades don't jam and over heat. There is a spray that can be used prior to oiling called Clini-Clip that assists in disinfecting the blade. au.wahl.com/Products/Australian-Products/Professional-Hairdressing/Accessories/Clini-Clip.aspx
No you cannot. Wahl Blade Oil does not heat up and change consistency with high friction. If a product is returned to us, we are able to see what oil has been used on the clipper or trimmer. If other types of oil or grease has been used, it will void the warranty.
@@wahlausnz What's the proper way to dry them? I've been wondering why the blades were a little brownish, but didn't really care enough to look it up myself. 😏
This was sad, but informative. Thanks
😂
😂😂😂
I absolutely agree...I feel cheated...
Sad?
No shittt lmao
one of the best videos on youtube. crazy how straight to the point it is and used to otherwise we are.
Are you normal?
English, muddafucka, have you improved it?
The music makes it sound like he's narrating the end of his life damn bro.
Video was on point, brotha. Concise, informative and the background piano made me feel like I was watching a Christopher Nolan film. Thanks
"... oil your unit before each use." 😅 But seriously, a great video with no extra talk or adverts - plain, simple facts. Thank you.
Great advice. I always oil my unit before each use. She loves it all oiled up!!!
Yes gotta oil it up let it drip.
Why use lube when you can go in dry?
Because this hurts everyone. In all the ways...
I went right into Beavis and butt-head mode when I heard that
Thanks for the most proficient video I've ever seen. To the point no b.s video. You Sir are on to something here...
CZcamsrs be like "today I'll be showing you how to oil your machine. You need to oil the machine because blah, blah, blah..." Until the video is at least 10 minutes long.
Same. Although I use a chinese one, I never found any visual manual about how to oil and clean things.
Cuz it's the Wahl channel official
Thanks for the short and to the point video!
Always remember to oil your unit before each use, guys. 😏
Easier than I expected.
Straight to the point. Thank you!
Good to know that you oil the blades while the unit is ON.
i was confused why people thought he was sad, this is exactly how i would expect my brother to do a voiceover for a hair clipper lol. I think the guy just wanted to finish his food honestly, and I don't blame him
Great! Now I know why, and how. Good video! Straight to the point, with no unnecessary faffing about. Thank you.
Bold choice to use the 2girls1cup background music.
Dude narrating just hates his life...
but thanks for the info. 😂
lol oiling :( your :(( wahlll :( clipper ;((((

Yeah he depressed as fuck
Thank you Joe Pera.
YES!! 😂😂
Merci beaucoup pour l'information ❤️
Haha he said, "oil your unit". Seriously, though very helpful.
Thanks mate! Was simple as
Interesting that my Wahl handbook tells me to oil differently.
Interesting
Confirmed in handbook this is the right way on my seniors thank you!
Narrated by Joe Pera
Thanks for the useful video. 👍 Keep up your good work
Wish i learned this before drowning the motor in oil
Lol same
Be smart. Every action has a ... Opposite so on and so forth
Thank you!
It work! I did clean up finally fast. And before slow……, today fast is good.
Clipper cide Great cleaning and lubricating product that I found another dude using.
Can the oil be used for cooking?
Mostly for dressing salads or for dipping bread into. It has a low smoke point.
Lol! His voice kind of reminds me of the Criminally Listed youtube channel's narrator.
Can i apply coconut oil as lubricant?
Baby oil is better
No you cannot. Please think of what Coconut oil does, when cooled down- it solidifies. We highly recommend Wahl Blade Oil as it is specifically designed for the longevity of your blade. Using other oil void the warranty.
Please do not use baby oil. Wahl Blade Oil is what is highly recommended. Other oils void the units warranty.
Why not build some sort of barrier that will keep out the oil from the motor compartment? Like a rubber gasket or something like that
Then you wouldn’t have to buy another clipper ! 😊
Thanks
wouldnt oiling blades before use get more hair stuck?
A bit of hair clinging to the blades doesn't hinder performance or cause premature wear. Fast moving metal on metal contact without lubrication puts strain on the motor, wears on the blades, causes them to cut poorly and can make the blades too hot to use without burning someone.
thank you for the assistance disembodied voice
Can someone please help me explain why my beard trimmer pulls the hairs and it hurts? Is it due to poor maintenance with my trimmer, or is it because my face has excess oil on it?
could possibly be the clippers aren’t sharp anymore and are getting stuck on to the hair instead of cutting through
@@carter-jermaineeveringham670 that's impossible, as I just bought my trimmer, it's brand new, and I've only used it like 2-3 times
@@israelrosen1853 you probably bought a 10 dollar trimmer
@@ErickReyesRomeroBanks 😂
Adjust the cutting speed. Your blades are no moving fast enough
Thanks for the video I appreciated it
Do I apply oil to the trimmer as well?
Are you going to f*ck with trimmer!?
@@user-cf1wm6ni1m 😂😂😂😂
Thank you so much Sir 💗😊
Thank you very helpful!
Oil in motor compartment will keep it cool and running harder
Did your forget your zoloft or was that your last day at Wahl?
When you cut your hair all the hair gets stuck inside the blades tho
Cool. Now I know how to oil my cheap Colby Clippers 😂
Cover up the motor?
The music wanted to make me cry😞
THANK YOU BEYOND BEYOND BEYOND BEYOND
Did exactly what you said. Now my blades are brown
Thank you
Thought I was watching a Netflix documentary for a sec
Do we need to do it before use or after use ...what about before using the fresh product for the first time?
Does "before every use" mean every day before you start cutting or before every haircut?
Glad this video was made
"unplugged", leaves the charger in:D
i think it was a non-wireless clipper that you plug into a wall socket
What is the model number of this Wahl clipper?
It is the Taper 2000 WA8472-532C au.wahl.com/Products/Australian-Products/Professional-Hairdressing/Clippers/Taper-2000-Chrome.aspx
I wish i would have known that before my first clippers died.
Perfect video thank you
Thank you for this information.
May I know the oil name sir?

After how many uses or days we should oil the trimmer?
0:43 "before each use"
I'd say atleast each 2 haircuts..
@@javierperez2584 is it really important to oil it? 🙄 It's been 4 months I never oiled my trimmer but it is working properly 😂

Can i use shaving spirit to clean the clippers?
Great
Crazy how I needed youtube to know this 😒
Oil before the use? Not after?
i usually oil my unit before use
Hi. I want to know how much oil can put on some part of the body, because the body have a screwcap to put some oil but i do not know how much. Thank you very much.
We recommend just a drop on each corner of the blade and one in the center. That is enough to lubricate the blade sufficiently.
@@wahlausnz Thank you very much!!.
i always thought maybe i oil them the wrong way.. let me look up a video.. and i have been doing it the right way all along
Oil before each use?
nice got my wahl oil and gotta oil my clipper!
Use Wahl clipper oil ONLY!!☝️
100%
What should I do? I feel like I have seen something I can't unsee!!
how to buy a original wahl trimmer for saloon shop.
You can jump on our website to see where your local Wahl Distributor is.
I had my clippers for 3 years, and about to break that seal to get my little bottle of oil.
Waaait a minnit... aren't we supposed to also to the sides? the gap on the side...
is it the same for the electric razor
Does the oil disinfect ?

why this felt like the end of the universe ?
I used to just pour oil in there and leave it overnight bruh thx for this
Great 👌👌💯
How often?
What clipper is this 😳
Amazing how the company that makes the stuff has no idea how to oil the blades. Please remedy this.
lol I just bought this and it said ‘oil blades before using’ so I was like how tf do I do that, AND FOUND THE VIDEO FOR THE EXACT CLIPPER I BOUGHT
But when is it recommended to oil it??
I mean, after how much cuts?
Use coconut oil in trimmers blades
Why I'm crying 😢
Isn’t this oil for pet only?
What kind of oil is used on clippers?
Wahl Blade Oil is what is highly recommended. Any other oil will damage the blade, and put strain on the unit. Other oil used will void the warranty.
Watching this was like the feeling a girl has during her walk of shame out of a one night stand’s house the morning after.
But it was necessary
0:47 that's what she said
Make sure you ONLY use Wahl oil lol of course why not
What oil you used?
Motorcycle
Can you use olive oil for example?
No you cannot. Wahl Blade Oil does not heat up and change consistency with high friction. If a product is returned to us, we are able to see what oil has been used on the clipper or trimmer. If other types of oil or grease has been used, it will void the warranty.
0:53 before each use
He says to hold it so the blades are facing down. Then proceeds to hold it with the blades facing up. Wtf???
I used oil and when I came the next morning my clipper had brown marks that couldn’t get be taken off like it was rusty
That means that there was moisture on the blade that was not dried properly. The Wahl Blade Oil will not rust the blade.
