We struggled for hours even after this extremely helpful video Some of the screw holes were sloppily done and we had to use a drill. After another 4 hours we stopped for the night.

Boiling Tea I have this same style futon bunk and the way mine folds up is you lift the bottom piece up about 45°, the other side should follow automatically, then push in and it should prop itself up
