- Hi guys! In this video, I will show how to cut and sew an aso oke cap. This cap, or FILA as it is traditionally called, is typically worn by men as part of their traditional outfit for special events.
Head width - 21.5 inches (circumference).
MATERIALS NEEDED
- Scissors
- Chalk
- Iron
- Matching thread
- Nigerian Aso Oke - 7 inches wide
- lining material

You can use any material for the interfacing provided it’s not too thick and would be durable. U can use those flower materials as well

It’s often sold in bundle and it comes with about 8 phases (I.e can sew 8 caps with it). You may be lucky to get a phase/piece but I usually buy half of a bundle for about 2,500-3500. therefore, a bundle would cost 5-7k in naira.
