There was a polo event a while back where Catherine presented a trophy to William’s team. She hands the various awards off and then steps to the side and off the podium (I’m not quite sure exactly but she’s not right up next to the players). There’s a great candid photo of the whole thing with the guys holding the trophy and Catherine just off to the side with a gorgeous mid-laugh smile on her face. I’m not sure why she presented the award, but she did a great job not elbowing her way in and keeping the focus on the players. I think Meghan was trying to copy that moment here and of course failed abysmally lol. Edited to add: ok I just looked it up and there are actually a few polo instances where Catherine is handing out awards, but omg it’s light years better than this situation with Meghan 🤦🏼♀️
On closer inspection H pulled it first then she did..I think she d have liked to hold it while they held the trophy so as not to be empty handed. This was a polo match right? I mean why was she even in their photo? Their didn't seem to be room on the stage. Could have just let the men have their time together to enjoy it. This filming was done way off to the side of the field just for the camera crew before the end of the matches and only involved Harry’s team. They placed second or third and their "trophy" was just the participation boxes you see them holding. When the trophy was actually presented Markle wasn’t involved.

It was spontaneous and just the team celebrating unlike this staged and awkward scenario with Markle who wasn’t asked to present the trophy. This filming was done way off to the side of the field just for the camera crew before the end of the matches and only involved Harry’s team. They placed second or third and their "trophy" was just the participation boxes you see them holding. When the trophy was actually presented Markle wasn’t involved.
Also a bit of cosplay from Pretty Woman, polka dots, big hat etc.
