The effects and environments were absolutely breathtaking. And the costumes too, so incredible. But I didn’t like the main actress, didn’t for the romantic subplot going on, and the A-plots in general were loose and all over the place. I get why it got cancelled tbh
This isn't what the world of Oz is. If you want something like this make an original story in a different world. Don't try to change an existing property into something that it's not.

If you actually spend time to see this series you'll find out it's actually not that bad. I'm hooked after every episode, there's actual plot-twists and character development. Too bad they cancelled season 2.

We don't even have cable, so how did they know whether or not we watched it, and how many people were watching at the house? Ratings is bullshit. maybe they should do TV shows like what they do with American Idol, and America's Got Talent, ahd have a 800 number for people to call in on and vote on it..

This series was AMAZING! They can't have canceled this. Ratings were pretty high I mean 7.2 is a high ratings. Look at Harry Potter series. They are all 7. something stars and continued. There were still a lot of fans that wanted this series to continue. It's not like everyone in the whole world hated this. 7.2 stars is actually great. But 5 stars out of 10 would be decent but enough to continue however if it was 1 or 3 stars then yeah don't continue it. I loved the whole imagination stuff, loved the cast, loved the main actress, loved the romance, loved the plot, and loved the drama. They did a great job with it.

Honestly, a terrible show. Literally, ONE GOOD PERSON in a world full of bad guys is how I would describe it. Not one character is likable except maybe the main heroine. Apart from her, I honestly couldn't sympathize enough with anyone to root for them. All the side characters are bratty, whiny, and annoying (Except maybe the little Sylvie) with no purpose whatsoever. All the leading characters are pretty much villains with literally 0 redeeming qualities. Seriously, no one's backstory was impactful enough to justify their corruption. Each one is no better than the other all fighting for the exact same thing, control, which neither one is fit to have. And as for the main girl, all I wanted was for her to leave that darned place and let the lot tear each other apart. I wasted my time waiting for it to redeem itself but got so annoyed that I skipped through several episodes just to see what comes in the end. Yeah, no wonder this show got canceled.

Perhaps you actually felt the same way about her character as I did, too, but felt the need to justify her in some way for "a certain" reason? Because she happens to indirectly Represent a "specific group" of people? Not even touching that subject, I can talk about Ozma, pointing out every faulty issue with her character if you want.

I don't need a show with perfect people that do things perfectly. People have faults and sometimes they don't have some grand ulterior redemption for that. People are shitty, the world is shitty. A place like Oz where a lot more (and yet so much less) is possible just magnifies that. But just because they're not good people, doesn't mean they're not likable characters.
