Cycle Touring - Cape2Cape - Ivory Coast

On the way to Cape Town we cycled through Ivory Coast in West Africa. This country is the 22nd country on our journey from Cape to Cape. In total, we cycled almost 1’000 kilometer in Ivory Coast. First along the coast through many different kinds of plantations reaching the busy city Abidjan. After that, we went northwards along some forest roads, before we entered our next country Ghana. On our way through Ivory Coast we met a lot of nice people and explored the local kitchen. Enjoy it!

We are Adrian and Fabian from Switzerland and love adventures. In May 2018, we started our Cape to Cape cycling tour from Norway to South Africa. The project name originated from the exact starting point, which was the North Cape in Norway and our destination Cape Town in South Africa.
On the way we will cross two continents, more than 30 countries and master over 30'000 km. To connect the two capes with the bicycle, we plan to cycle for two years.

How long did it take you to cycle 1000km? If I started in Abijan, where would be a good end point to catch an international flight if I had about 2-3 weeks to cycle?
