It was sweet to hear the 525 running again. I think I could listen to that all day long, 😂😂. I'm sure it sounds much better standing there in person. I see teeter is a great mouse hunter, 😂😂.
Nice to see the 525 powered up again. It's amazing that Chrysler was still building flathead 6-cylinder industrial engines into the 1960s. Be great to see it in the field harvesting wheat.
Use graph paper and small bits of paper cut to represent all the equipment in the shed, you could play with it to figure out what would work for rearranging the shed - a pain but maybe easier than shuffling.
Ethan, least you got a few things done with the rain delay. That's good getting the 525 running, sounds like you will be playing equipment tetras in the barn. Thanks Michael
Really cool to see the 525 light up. It's what yer channel name is based on. And you didn't use someone else's name to ride in on. Can't wait to see it working.
you mention straight pipes, coolest combine from years past white 7600 white with 318 and factory daul straight pipes. grandpa had 1 bought new i think
Just sprayed my soybean field 2 days ago. I do use roundup as well. Paid a jug 119.99 from Rural King. Used to to be 59.99 before covid. Went up to 159.99 now 120.
Did that roundup come out of a 265 gallon tote or a drum? We had a similiar issue last year on cotton and have seen visual seperation within a tote. We are agitating the roundup prior to dispensing out of drums or totes.
I sprayed some here in central Ohio last week with virtually the same mix and mine looked the same as yours there with the exception the first load had no Enlist and didnt do it?? Idk. 3-4 days they looked a ton better.
I can't remember if I left a comment or not about mechanical tillage I don't know if you could do it with beans but I know you can do it with Corn you might wanna look into that that would give you more content for your CZcams channel
You might want to stop making suggestions. They tend to not be any good. Also all tillage is mechanical, the phrase you’re looking for is mechanical weed control. Least you could do is get that right.
I was in my early twenties we.had a couple mutes. We go to start the combine the smart one would sit behind the machine. The other dog just followed. When the starter turned the engine over , a rat come out the back of the combine. The smart dog caught it , and killed it. I told dad you need to trane your dog to get rid of it. Dad's comment , I'll git rid of it !!
525 Sounds good!

The sound of that engine brings back fond memories of my dad's 525. Thanks!
They are a nice little combine.
Is going to be great to see this old beauty work again.
Ethan, do the right thing. Put the 525 back to being original. Sounds sooooo nice.

I just KNEW you were gonna make pins. Its just how you roll.😅
Good to hear the 525 purring. Looking forward to seeing it work the wheat. Thanks for taking us along Ethan. Take care. Fred.
She’s got a nice sound.

Thanks.
I am tickled to see the 525 going again
Me to.
Be great to set it up for wheat. That way you have the combine set for a crop. Sounds great.
That’s what I’m doing.

Hey Ethan,,imagine how bad rhe beans would look in another week after the rain you've had. I believe yer right, they'll be fine.
Seeing the 525 cutting wheat would be really cool just an idea
Why do you think I just spent the money to put a bee battery in it and change the oil?
@@Oliver66FarmBoy honestly wasn't sure but can't wait to see it cutting wheat
Another great video!
Good stuff

It’s only that expensive at box stores.
I just had the same herbicide damage on my beans! Also using Elist/Powermax 3. Mine is a little worse actually, hopefully it pulls through.
It will. Just gonna take a minute.
You should bring the ole girl out to rantoul next year.
I’ll never take a combine.
I like the 525 wish you could run it some during harvest
He is going to run it in wheat this year.
Wouldn't it be nice to find someone from battle creek to give us oliver collectors a layout of the next generation oliver combine if it would come out
They are most likely all dead.
The clutch use to stick on the old massey too
The joys of equipment that spends most of the time sitting.

With this heat wave there could have been any number of negative reactions.
Fyi..
I think Wisconsin got another inch plus Monday night
Can you get any none ethanol gasoline by you? We can get in premium and seems to last like old gas...
Plus a buck or 5
We haven’t ran ethanol blend in years.
Just a question, does the chain tensioner sit on the wrong side of the chain? should it be on the loose side and not on the drive side?
No
How big of head goes on the 7300 oliver combine ?
How much horse that 525 have? Good to hear it running
