We have tried just about every type of RV toilet on the market. These dry flush toilets are the easiest to use and like you mentioned zero odor and no dumping a black tank or cleaning out a composting bucket. All RV toilets have pluses and minuses. Initial cost and then the per flush cost is high on these dry flush toilets. We use public restrooms whenever possible and reserve our Laveo for night calls and emergencies so that cost for the cassette’s isn’t that big of a deal. For our needs having the flush and forget aspect, no mess and very little maintenance was paramount. Look into the Wrappon Trekker dry flush from Japan. Same principle but the cartridges are 50+ flushes so a bit cheaper to operate and not as much plastic waste being thrown away.
I like it.I have a 17 in high cassette toilet only use it for urination. I put the deodorant break down pods in it . I can also just put a bag and pellets in it .I have 2 bad knees and afraid of slipping the height is perfect so this works for me . I have a colostomy after surviving cancer and I just throw those bags away in zip lock bags then thick black out bags.
$895.00 for the toilet? And $1.50 per flush? Wouldn't emptying 15 flushes worth of waste be kind of heavy? That looks really fun but I'll stick with the old fashion collapsible toilet for now. Glad to know such a thing exists though!
No it compresses it and it is not heavy. It is awesome because u never have to smell or touch anything. That is why i like it. But u r right about the cost. A natures head toilet is 900, and u still have to handle the waste. So i prefer the laveo over the natures head. I do love my KDD toilet as well. It has served me well these past 3 years.

Yes. U can just use the bags instead of the cartridges with this toilet as well. Saves on money. But the height is great on the knees.
