Ahhh a fellow Scot!!!!.... my Arab husband now lives with me in Scotland and we have given my parents in law the gift of going to the umrah...they go in March....I underestimated as a non Muslim how much it would mean to them although I knew it was a huge deal. I'm so happy we were able to do this for them and inchalla they will have a safe journey and enjoy their pilgrimage....fab video

Regarding Saudi electrical outlets, they are using type G which is the same kind they have in UK. However some very very old buildings and very very old hotels might use type C (not to be confused with USB Type C) which is the kind you showed that has only two pins. Using type G (AKA UK) plugs and outlets is obligatory and considered illegal and the facility will receive a fine by the civil defense if they used other than type G. However you might need at least one travel adapter in case because some of the hospitals here in Saudi use type A and Type B (American) and some use type C as well.

I was just wondering what your experience was with taking your camera inside the Haram and recording, did you recieve any trouble for it, is there any way around this etc? Over there the only worry is get to Masjid for salah. When the call comes “come to prayer, come to success” that’s it, everything stops, everyone goes to pray.
I guess that is life. Got to get back to “normality”.

Beard oil I got from Tescos for £5. I tried it couple of years ago and loved it. Tried other oils since then but my beard because a little “harsh” with other oils. I thought I’d get this for umrah and so glad I did. Its one of the only oils which keep my beard feeling “smooth” lol.
Digital Luggage scale I got from Ebay, I think it was £4ish
I was actually thinking about making a video about the beard because a lot of brothers go through lots of problems facing it so yeh inshaa Allah will make one in future.

+ultimate challenger GAMER I am back from Umrah, came back lastnight. Alhumdulilah. Have patience, be open minded, remember you are Allah's guest. Keep up your dhikr and Durood (prayers upon Prophet (saw). Keep up your salah. Take rest, don't over do it. if you are tired when you get to your hotel, just rest. When you have rested then go for umrah. Hope that helps :) Keep me in your duas.
