"why would scry be in a granny map anyway?" fax bro, this one time someone in my map wouldn't leave me alone and kept begging me to let him add scry into MY map, it was a Lab and had NO REASON for scry to be there, plus he would be useless since the piggy is trapped in a room for 90% of the game until the chase scene is enabled

Keep crying.* also i find the idea of backseating maps to be really icky. it’s THEIR creation, you shouldn’t try taking control of something you DON'T OWN by someone you DON'T KNOW with that being said, i can’t wait to finish my boss fight map (which does NOT INCLUDE PIGGY AT ALL!!!) and have people constantly ask to add arbitrary mechanics that only work for maps with piggy in them (i.e. scry, pre-placed traps, foxy, etc)
I hate it when people want to add random npcs like scry and the prototype in my maps, I add them to others maps sometimes to troll the owners and the others, but I always end up deleting them once they notice, unless it fits with the theme
Wasn’t in the vid but and mainly offtopic I think we should cut some slack to people with maps that are just the plain white texture and look nothing like the name cuz it’s most likely they are new to building maps, and I’m pretty sure we’ve all been there like them
The granny map was my map, I’m glad u liked it! Edit: For those wondering why the extra rooms like the garage and stuff like that wasn’t there in the map, it’s cuz the version I had made was VERSION 1.0, the version that granny was when it had first come out. My user was ElectricStorm278 btw :D Edit 2: I only saw this vid like 2 months after it was released cuz someone in my bm server (at the time of writing this) told me about this vid and I had no idea lol.

I have had some good experiences in server list maps. Some bad... Like this one time i made a map, and some dude was begging for helper. Bro you only get helper if you met me in another game or you're my friend of smth. To this day i play piggy says and fnaf maps only

Lol, i feel like you were being a bit harsh, like with the title of the video. And just because a map has offsetting doesn't make it good. Offsetting just makes it look a bit more detailed. It's about the effort you put into your map, lol. Some people just like to stick to normal things like minigames or classic maps and those can be really fun.
While I do agree that the amount of awful maps is a problem, you have to understand that most of the players are young children with very little experience, my old maps were horrible but overtime I got better and better and I've improved a lot, and so will most of these players. However if any of these map owners see this video I can't imagine they'd be very happy about their map being in a video about bad maps, whether it is actually bad or not. Again, I do agree that most of these maps weren't very good, and the title is accurate lol TLDR: Yeah the maps suck, but they're made by little kids, don't be too harsh
man i found the worst map trust me your not gonna believe me the map was like named a disco party map but when i joined it was jsut a disco party in the middle of a ww3 looking place but after sometime when the owner like reloaded the map it had the cutscene.. this cutscene was one of the most disgusting things ever it was about pony and zizzy doing the thing.. and then after seeing such things and seeing the n word on another of his maps i feel so much pstd edit: just pls becareful on which build mode maps you go theres anyways gonna be one that is gonna be very disgusting and rule breaking of roblox tos and i sadly didnt get the owner's user that made that very map. edit 2: i was a minor btw while being on that map but meh i don´t not feel safe

I didn't make this video to hate on people, I made it to show my opinion on the current perspective of build mode. It deeply hurts me when I see people who think I'm nothing but a hater. Critisizm isn't a bad thing, it helps builders of all ages improve. But still, everybody has their own opinion, and if you think that what I'm doing is wrong, then that's ok I guess.
@@Mini_PiggyNerdwell, there's difference between criticizing maps by saying what is niche in there and what could use some improvement, and straightforward insulting them, as you did in video title harshly speaking of maps would not give builders any improvement, it will only discourage them

I made two parts of granny, but I heavily loaded the first one with my own features.
The only bad maps are piggy says, the maps that spam npcs, and the maps that have 0 effort in them (some may be maps made by beginners)

We have the resources to make really good maps yet pretty much none of the maps that are on the server list are any good.
