I recommend binge-watching TV shows instead of watching movies. The problem with movies is that when they end, you feel a sense of finality. This sucks when you might have many hours of flying left. Sometimes it's difficult for your brain to accept starting another movie straight away. If you must watch movies, watch a series like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings etc so it doesn't feel weird starting another movie directly after the previous one ends.
i have flight anxiety, too, so since i've gotten older i've always downloaded enough episodes of a show that calms me down to last the whole flight. this way, 1. i can watch the great british bakeoff to calm down and 2. i can judge my time left in a way that i enjoy and entertains me. instead of watching long movies that drag on, i can watch something that i really like and think to myself 'okay, i can only watch 4 more episodes before we land'. i'm a type of person who really can't just listen to music bc it makes me overthink about the scary parts of flying!
Another tip bring a pack of Baby wipes, or equivalent. You can wipe down your body and feel fresher (kinda like a mini shower). I found that helps so much on a 16+ hour flight.
I’ve been doing this for years - Baby wipes are the best hack ! If I have a stopover. I also bring a spare shirt and underwear to freshen up on my layover! Just being real😅
i find long distance flights super relaxing. you have about 10 hours only for yourself, you can't do anything important like working or being online. the only task you have is watching movies, eating, reading, sleeping and usually there is free alcohol. big part of a trip for me!
For some reason I always love talking to the person next to me, like strangers are just the best to talk to because, you can say a lot of stories and the conversation just continues.
I absolutely love this video! Might be strange but I actually love travelling through airplanes, and if the trip is only 2 hours long I get sad because I didn't "fully enjoy" my flight lolol. Also, to not be bored sometimes I talk to someone that is sitting beside me, I try to comment about something the person's reading or just do casual chat, sometimes we end up talking a lot and it's so interesting getting to know that person's history. I think it's just my latina blood that impulses me to socialize with people I dont know everywhere LOL.
omg one time i sat next to a guy from south africa but it turned out he also lived right up the street from me for a bit in san diego! his life was so interesting we ended up talking for over half the flight until i finally was like 'i need to sleep hahaha' it made the flight go by so fast!!
I’m taking my first long haul flight (to Japan!!!) next month so this was perfect timing! I never thought to pause the movie while you eat so it takes longer to finish but that’s honestly genius. Cari’s out here living in 3018 and leaving us all behind 😂
I'm about to make my first trip to Japan as well! Did these tips help you? Do you have any of your own you threw into the mix? I'm praying I don't get weird looks for doing the face masks during my flights, lol
HAND SANITIZER!! I wipe down the video screen, the arm rests, the metal on the seat belt, etc., etc. Then I wipe some of it under my nose. Daniel Pink, an author, recommends rubbing it into your nostrils. Who knows, the person thinking of squeezing into the seat next to you might move along to another row:) The last long flight I took, I put all my "gear" into a gallon ziploc bag, then used a Command picture hanging strip to stick the bag on the wall under the window. I'm always afraid of leaving something in the seat pocket, so this way it was all right there and visible. And I love that you read the emergency card! Lots of great tips here!
Heads up to anyone reading this: don’t put ur stuff into the seat pocket in front of you (sorry Cari) because that and the tray table are the 2 grossest, dirtiest places on an airplane, even more so than the toilet. as someone who's always an anxious flyer, and for whom even the slightest turbulence feels like certain doom, I can't believe I never thought of the dance playlist idea! actually genius, going to try this next week when I fly 😊
I just came back from vacation on a 13-hour flight. I watched 2 movies, ate the dinner they served, fell asleep, woke up and turned on the in-flight entertainment and saw there were still 5 hours left, I was like "are you kidding me?" I love travel but I wish there is a quicker way around the world 😁
Pro Tip: Most airlines will have a Vegetarian Option on their menu that you do not have to pre-order (In case any vegetarians forgot to order one!). This option will usually be some sort of pasta with plain tomato sauce. GO FOR IT. That meal is probably one of the best options you can get, at least for economy!
@@idealfit718 sometimes, it's not the comfiest solution unless your 5ft tall. I had a vacant seat next to mine and I couldnt sleep any better than if I was seated. However I'm 6ft tall. I just read and sleep a lot. Inhave flown 15 and a half hours from NYC to Taiwan then another 2 hours from Taiwn to Manila. In October I am flying from NYC to Seoul 15 hours then I have another flight from Seoul to Manila, another 4 hours.
THANK YOU, sooo much for this video, im terrified of flying but my daughter whi loves all things Korean has talked me into going to Korea in June, we are flying on Singapore. I have been watching videos on long flights for 2 weeks, this was the best 🤗🤗
This is the most in depth video of in-flight habits and strategy. It is very nice to know what others are thinking and reassuring when you know that we are all thinking on some universal level. I always bring a book but I can never really get into it no matter how good the book is. It has something to do with motion and comfort level. So it's always a movie marathon for me but so is the rest of my life. Never get the fish! Thanks for another amazing video.
I’ve never been on a super long flight but I have been on days where its multiple reasonably long ish flights which take up a little over a day. So once I visit family in the US which will be insanely long (over 24 hours on a plane) some of these tips will definitely be useful!
I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYONE MENTION THE TENTH KINGDOM AND IT IS SOOOO GOOD. I grew up with that movie. Watched it once a year. I felt like I was the only one that knew about it. I am in my immediate circle.
I've seen many of these types of videos on CZcams, but this one is seriously the BEST one ever!! So relatable right from the start, and spot on especially on turbulence and the face masks!! I'm definitely similar in the sense that sometimes I'm hyped about a flight and sometimes nervous - and I do exactly the same thing during turbulence. Also really good tips about getting natural light to get over jetlag.
Tip for couples, ask for an aisle and window seat. There is a good chance that the centre seat remains vacant or the other passenger will ask for an alternative seat after the plane takes off.
How i handle my long flights 1. wear loose clothing 2.take 1st ambien 3.eat dinner and drink red wine 4.take my 2nd ambien 5.put on my sleep mask and headphones then go into ambien LaLa land
This is an excellent video! I have done a bit of overseas travelling and I can say that I have tried most of the things you suggest for relaxation and to make the time fly by. I especially appreciate you saying that you alway study the emergency guides on the plane. I have noticed that many people don't do that. And I always look for the exit signs, too. Very important. Keep up the good work on your vlogs. Happy and safe travels!
hello thank you for the video, you are one of the first persons i know to talk about anxiety in flight , and show exactly the same symptoms i do, but because i love travel, were i go again for 2 flights of 7h each from portugal to thailand, and back :-) so if some one is anxious to flight , never forget you are NOT alone.
I’m taking my first long haul flight this Sunday from Singapore to Canada and this video is extremely useful. I am so worried about turbulence but your tips are amazing!!!
Good suggestions. Using the plane’s entertainment system is a good idea. You want to save your power. I find the most common malfunctioning seating element is the power plug.
This is going to be soooo helpful. I’ve been to a few flights and seriously my biggest issue is that I get easily bored and 99.7% of the entire flight I usually spend on trying to sleep so I won’t notice the time. I’ve wanted to try putting on a face mask but it makes me shy. I am definitely going to be brave and try it on my next flight. 😣✊ Fighting!
Thank you so much for this video!! I had a 14hr flight (Argentina -> Spain) and this could've been so useful! I luckily knocked myself out for 9 hours but didn't know what to do for the remaining 5 other than trying to watch a movie and managing my anxiety. I'll definitely try this next time!
Thank you for the tips! I'm flying from Iowa to Sydney via LAX next month so i'm in for a 14+ hour flight! The longest flight I've ever been on was a 7-8 hour flight from Minneapolis to Honolulu about 10 years ago.
Flew Chicago to Seoul non-stop ...14 hrs. on KAL . Good advice our stewardesses and stewards also encouraged us to get up and move around the cabin .(747-400 )
This was great! I often try to sleep immediately but I love the tip to wait a while first. I have 14 hours next year and have been watching videos like this one to get prepared. I really enjoyed this!
I do all those things apart from sleeping. My body cannot sleep in transit/on a go. I am never able to fall asleep on a plane/bus/train etc. If I am absolutely exhausted my body will try to nap but not for longer than 10 minutes. I have been struggling with long journeys not just to Korea because of that. I mostly watch 2-3 movies, listen to music and read a book. If I am travelling with someone, we will usually chat for a bit. I often get up to the toilet or just to stretch, I cannot sit still for a long time.
Thanks for the tips. I'm going to Paris and London in October and will be experiencing my first long haul flight when I fly from Oakland to Charles de Gaulle. The longest flights I've been on are ones to and from Hawaii, so around 5 to 5 1/2 hours, so this will be a new experience for me. It's also been almost 4 years since the last time I was on an airplane.
I flew from KL to LAX with a layover in Seoul and after that had another flight to Salt Lake City from LAX. That was over 20hours of travelling time. My go to way to handle the long hours of travel time is to take the anti motion sickness pill. Works wonderfully. I only wake up for meals hahah.
Omgggg thankyou so much! This is what I needed! Every second was full of information and helpful tips! Now I know what I’m gonna do on the long haul flights!
Thankyou for your helpful guide Cari! I am going on my first ever flight in may and its 12 hours long! I am looking forward to it but have major anxiety with it! its between Heathrow and Hong Kong direct as well!
You can do it!! When I flew from Seoul to Heathrow the view was amazing! Flying to america its just ocean for houuuurs but you should get really pretty views of europe and russia 😍 have a safe flight and happy trip!!
My wife, my son, and I have never flown before. In August we go from Iowa to Taipei for a week and back. So stressful. Your video has been the best advice. Thank-you!
i get bad flight anxiety and cry and it gets very hard to breathe. this summer i’m going from lax- london and i was really scared. thank you so much for helping :)
Thank you for this, especially ideas about what to do with boredom. Will add: If you're a nervous flier like me, go look up what turbulence actually involves. It's helped me a ton knowing how it works and finding out that it's rarely actually dangerous. The more you know!
In my experience when it comes to the longhaul flight, drinking several glasses of sparking white wine as much as possible, and then I could feel like really such an unendurable drowsiness, and then I could fall sleep for some hours, because as you would know, drinking any type of a liquor will be intoxicated much more faster than on the ground for sure.
Very cool tips, esp. the face mask. I didn't think of that until now ^_^' What I always bring on my flights to Asia are some kind of ear plugs, a very light scarf to wrap around my face so that I my nostrils and throat don't dry out, a natural nose oil, hand cream and an eye mask. Oh and of course my trusty little pillow which has even served me as a pillow in some small family run homes/hotels. I do agree that it is best to just put everything in the front pocket right when boarding, otherwise you may disturb your seat neighbors during the flight. Thank you for this video! 💕
OH. MY. GOD. I have been looking for the name of "The 10th Kingdom" for like twelve years! My babysitter played the whole thing for us when I was super young and I could never find what it was. you didn't mean to, but THANKS for the help :D
This was a phenomenal video. You spell out details that I as a frequent flyer forget to appreciate. This is a great video for a first time long haul flyer but I enjoyed it even familiar with the process ;-)
I always forget to stretch when I’m on the plane, mostly because I feel bad for making people stand up to let me out from my seat.... but I loved this! I wish you had a Spotify playlist, I would love to listen to that! Thanks!
cari cakes hi! Me again! I wanted to let you know that this morning I was so excited to listen to your Spotify playlist called “to stare out windows” but I had to work in the morning, so I played it at the restaurant I manage until brunch ended and EVERYONE loved it! My staff, my customers, they were all asking where I got it and what some of the song titles were! So I just wanted to let you know and now I’m listening to it again! Thanks!!
Excellent tips. Living in Australia I go on many long haul flights. Yes, hydrate, listen to music, get up and stretch. I find it hard to read on flights but I do pre-download some Netflix episodes. Flights are part of our journey, so enjoy. Ah, travel! Thx. 😊
This is actually perfect! I'll be flying from LAX to Seoul using Singapore Airlines as well. It will be my longest flight yet. Now I'll just have to find something to do for my 14 hour layover
omg singapore airlines is the best EVER its seriously so nice. any time you're hungry you cn just ask them and they'll bring you a ton of snacks (like, substantial snacks like granola bars not like a little bag of nuts hahah) enjoy!!!! and for your layovers look for meditation rooms and go in there and rest hehe
Although I enjoy long car rides more than long flights this video was really fun to watch with great tips. I remember a flight from Germany to China (and back obviously) where they had so many cool movies to watch. But the food on my flight back was bad, I was so miserable when I landed. Since then I always choose the safest option food-wise :D
omg i'm flying to korea (also long haul) tomorrow midnight and im prepping my music (great grandma fat ipod nano pink 2007 !!! ) and I see gerard way my chem beach boys the cure smashing pumpkings even The Academy Is...amongst others! omg!!!! love your music taste!!!
Wow this is AMAZING, im taking a flight back home from korea and I was a bit anxious. All other videos made me even more anxious but this...made me so relaxed. Thank you so much!
I’ve been flying my whole life but only domestic (USA) so mostly 4hours and under. But next year I have a 10 hour flight to Ireland so this video will be a life saver!!!!!
Thank you for the advice! I went to London last year for the very first time by myself and it was my first long trip overseas which took about 12 hours overall with an hour layover in Iceland and I believe that includes the time difference. I just didn't know what to do with myself for long! So tired! Haha
Oh man! My best friend did that last year and she went on WOW airlines. She said the seat was basically like wood with a piece of fabric over it hahaa hope your flight was more comfy!!
cari cakes Oh gosh! That was the same airline I took too! Lol It was a really good price at the time but it wasn't very comfortable for a long flight, to close to your seatmates for comfort at times too. I guess you learn from experience! I am dying to go traveling again very soon ❤
I really love flying, long haul flights are just cozy time to me, haha. On my first flight to Seoul I was on my period and suuuuper bloated. I had decided to upgrade to business class since I got a good deal with Qatar, but because I felt so crappy I couldn't eat anything (it was like a 9 hour-ish flight and all I ate was a smoothie and a piece of chocolate OTL). Really sad I missed out on the business class food. It was still worth it though, most comfortable flight I've been on and it was fun to experience once. Will definitely consider getting a vegetarian meal option next time I fly, thanks for the tip!
oh nooo!!! it was my first day of my time of the month on this trip but luckily all i want to do on those days is sleep, eat, and watch movies so it was perfect hahaha
loving the tips especially the hydrating face mask 😋👌🏼 I'm flying from Scotland to Australia in 4 weeks this Friday which will consist of........ GLA-DXB 7hrs 20mins DXB-MEL 13hrs 15mins 😱 MEL-CNS 3hrs 20mins hheellppp 😂
being an australian, to get anywhere other than new zealand is a long haul flight, especially since i live in the south east of australia. i'm currently in europe, and i have been for about three months but im heading home in about ten days and i'm very excited, but im also so excited to use all these tips!! i really do love this video sm i've watched it like three times already for no reason ur so cool
The transit hotel at Incheon International Airport is a life saver for when I fly from Cebu, Philippines back to San Francisco. Being able to have a small room to get some sleep along with being able to take a shower is a relief.
Great advice! There are a lot of mindfulness strategies here. When turbulence hits, I will talk to myself to rationalize the situation. This works for me when I experience prolonged turbulence.
Yes! I especially love looking at the map (or out the window) and seeing that the terrain below is causing it (like when we go over mountains, typically the air is choppier!) it really helps :)
I have 4 hours on the plane from Chicago to México city. But also take a bus for 3 hours to Taxco. I could never imagine 10+ hours! I do love airports though lol
In January next year I'll be flying from Australia with Singapore airlines to Germany, I'm going on exchange for 6 weeks and I'm so excited! I'm not a stranger to long haul flights, the longest flight I've ever done was Melbourne to Doha, which was almost 14 hours (it was my first long haul flight too, so I was really thrown into the deep end!), but I really liked your video regardless because it reminded me of what I will be able to do with all my time!
Love this video! I usually just fall asleep during the entire flight. I prefer sitting by the window because I'm a dead sleeper and it's hard to wake me up.
I’ve been so obsessed with your videos. I fly out to Incheon in May and it’ll be my first 10+ hour flight and my nerves have been insane. This has definitely helped!
the vegetarian meal option is such a good idea!! i can’t believe i hadn’t thought of it before. i’m not vegetarian but i’m not a big meat person, and when i’m on a plane i don’t want some huge meal that will make me feel sick, and meat does that to me every time. plus, i don’t really trust airplane food sometimes lmao. i’m definitely gonna do that next time i’m on a long flight!
Super well made (as always)! Watched through every second; every bit is loaded with great info! I HATE long flights coz it’s impossible for me to fall asleep on a plane, but these will definitely come in handy when I have to make the journey to see my parents across the globe! I never knew vegan was a free alternative, but I’m definitely gonna try and ask now that I know! Veggiessss 🍅
I am going to South Korea and i gave to sit in the airport for 7 hours and on the plane for 9 hours. But i love flying on the plane so it's okay. I'm so exited to go korea !!
This is a great video! My flying style is a little different (aisle seat for me please and I secretly like a little turbulence haha) but I think this can be super helpful for anybody who is nervous about a long haul flight ❤️ I recently flew return to Mexico City via LAX from Brisbane (Straayyyyaaaaa) and got hit with a migraine mid-flight which was a horrific experience at the time but two weeks later and I am watching this itching to get on a plane!!
I'm flying from the us to Africa in 3 days and so these are some great tips! i have 2 layovers and 3 total flights, but all together it's almost 19 hours of flying and over 22 hours of traveling! super exited :)
i completely agree with the vegetarian options on flights! i got the chicken to europe (from North America) and it was honestly really bad, and on the way back (same airline) i got the vegetarian which was SO much better!
This was great! Going on a super long flight from Germany to Auckland and have a ~18h layover in Guangzhou in April. It's the first time I'll travel alone and then it's immediately such a long travel. I'm ... just super anxious lol so this had so great tips on calming down n stuff!

Oh man i hate that!! Last summer i flew to california (11 hours) and then new york (6 hours) and it was not fun hahaha
I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYONE MENTION THE TENTH KINGDOM AND IT IS SOOOO GOOD. I grew up with that movie. Watched it once a year. I felt like I was the only one that knew about it. I am in my immediate circle.
Omg thats how i feel about it!! Hahha literally me and one other person have seen it 😂😂😂
so glad to see one of these from an economy flyer!
On my last long haul flight, I started watching “Chernobyl” and I time passed by soooo quick! Really good tips!
How i handle my long flights
1. wear loose clothing
2.take 1st ambien
3.eat dinner and drink red wine
4.take my 2nd ambien
5.put on my sleep mask and headphones then go into ambien
LaLa land
@@simon3101 lmao😂😂😭🤡
This is an excellent video! I have done a bit of overseas travelling and I can say that I have tried most of the things you suggest for relaxation and to make the time fly by. I especially appreciate you saying that you alway study the emergency guides on the plane. I have noticed that many people don't do that. And I always look for the exit signs, too. Very important. Keep up the good work on your vlogs. Happy and safe travels!
hello thank you for the video, you are one of the first persons i know to talk about anxiety in flight , and show exactly the same symptoms i do, but because i love travel, were i go again for 2 flights of 7h each from portugal to thailand, and back :-) so if some one is anxious to flight , never forget you are NOT alone.
honestly one of the best tip videos ever! so genuine and realistic.
I have a 10HR flight from greece to JFK after my vacation trip is over and these are great tips
One time my mom gave my benadryl when i was younger to make me sleepier on the flight but it had the opposite effect and i was SO HYPER hahhaha
Your natural hair color is so beautiful!
Omgggg thankyou so much! This is what I needed! Every second was full of information and helpful tips! Now I know what I’m gonna do on the long haul flights!
hooray! glad i could help :)
Never thought about doing a face mask on a flight, what a brilliant idea!
Binging on a long haul when everyone is asleep is the highlight of every trip!
That was so helpful! I legit didn’t get bored once while watching this and it wasn’t all useless info . Loved it !
Agree! Getting ready for a US to London and watching several vids like this. This one was actually helpful.
Samuel Loughor-Clarke same
Thankyou for your helpful guide Cari!
Thankyou for your kind words Cari, I should do, hopefully I get nice views of China too!
ahh duh! haha i as thinking of my flight and we flew straight over russia but you'd be going further south for hong kong hehehehe
My wife, my son, and I have never flown before. In August we go from Iowa to Taipei for a week and back. So stressful. Your video has been the best advice. Thank-you!
i get bad flight anxiety and cry and it gets very hard to breathe. this summer i’m going from lax- london and i was really scared. thank you so much for helping :)
have a great flight! my parents just did lax to zurich :) its scary but just remember that traveling is worth it!
Thank you for this, especially ideas about what to do with boredom. Will add: If you're a nervous flier like me, go look up what turbulence actually involves. It's helped me a ton knowing how it works and finding out that it's rarely actually dangerous. The more you know!
omg yes! I actually found that watching planes land in bad weather made me feel better because i can see how much a plane can handle!
I'm coming to Korea in a few days for a semester study abroad and flying just under 15h from Chicago to Taipei....TT This video is super helpful!
I've watched dozens of videos on this subject, and this is one of the best 🙂
Your iPod tip was really appreciated. I’m dusting off my nano and charging it for my 17 hour flight. Thank you!
Omg YAAAAS I’ve been having so many moments like that lately hahahha i watched so many weird things as a kid and the names suddenly come to me 😂😂😂
This was a phenomenal video. You spell out details that I as a frequent flyer forget to appreciate. This is a great video for a first time long haul flyer but I enjoyed it even familiar with the process ;-)
I love this. Especially the dance music during turbulence 😂 I do this haha
Chloe 878 yup
Omg I also pause what I am listening to or watching when there are some bumps as I hate turbulence.
I always forget to stretch when I’m on the plane, mostly because I feel bad for making people stand up to let me out from my seat.... but I loved this! I wish you had a Spotify playlist, I would love to listen to that! Thanks!
Look me up! I’m cari cakes on spotify too hehehhee
cari cakes you just made this the best Sunday I could have had!!! I’m so happy!!!
cari cakes hi!
Since then I always choose the safest option food-wise :D
im definitely more of a fan of long car rides! less "turbulence" and you can stop whenever you want hahahhaha
omg i'm flying to korea (also long haul) tomorrow midnight and im prepping my music (great grandma fat ipod nano pink 2007 !!! ) and I see gerard way my chem beach boys the cure smashing pumpkings even The Academy Is...amongst others! omg!!!! love your music taste!!!
Have a safe flight!! And yaaaaaaas 🙌🙌🙌
Wow this is AMAZING, im taking a flight back home from korea and I was a bit anxious. All other videos made me even more anxious but this...made me so relaxed. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this. I am going on a flight from Australia to London so this will help me on the plane!
have a great flight!!
I’m going from uk to Canada this year in August and I’m so excited omg!!
Im going to South Korea In August :) Enjoy your Hols :)
One of your stickers says Encinitas and that is where my family lives and where I’m traveling to this summer!!
im from carlsbad^^~
15 hour flight this summer!! Excited
I’ve been flying my whole life but only domestic (USA) so mostly 4hours and under. But next year I have a 10 hour flight to Ireland so this video will be a life saver!!!!!
Same! I was always a 4 or 6 hour flyer but now im pretty comfortable with the 13 hour ones. Give ireland my love when you get there!!
Love the face mask suggestion. Will try once we’re allowed to fly again.
GLA-DXB 7hrs 20mins
DXB-MEL 13hrs 15mins 😱
MEL-CNS 3hrs 20mins
hheellppp 😂
I'm gonna be flying 9 hours and 30 mins in August so thanks for these tips!
cLapZ you can do it!! ;)
being an australian, to get anywhere other than new zealand is a long haul flight, especially since i live in the south east of australia. i'm currently in europe, and i have been for about three months but im heading home in about ten days and i'm very excited, but im also so excited to use all these tips!! i really do love this video sm i've watched it like three times already for no reason ur so cool
The transit hotel at Incheon International Airport is a life saver for when I fly from Cebu, Philippines back to San Francisco. Being able to have a small room to get some sleep along with being able to take a shower is a relief.
i actually made a video about that hotel! i think its so cool~
I've been on many long haul flights and it's still always a struggle every time. But this is perfect timing for my Japan trip next week 😊❤️
Omg tell the sakura i say HELLOOOO!!!! (Hope theyre out for you!!!)
I didn’t really give attention to turbelance because I am quite ok with it. And I slept right away whenever I board a plane 😆
Tika Ahamad what do you do if there’s a turbulence? How do you feel calm? :)
In January next year I'll be flying from Australia with Singapore airlines to Germany, I'm going on exchange
for 6 weeks and I'm so excited!
Yeah Germany hope it was good for you :)
I’ve only ever been on a 1 hour flight so I’m looking forward to my first ever long haul flight one day
Love this video!
Gahhhh thank you!! Have a safe flight 💕💕
this video is so nice and calm, as if flying 13hours was the most comfortable thing ever. great tips!
the vegetarian meal option is such a good idea!! i can’t believe i hadn’t thought of it before. i’m not vegetarian but i’m not a big meat person, and when i’m on a plane i don’t want some huge meal that will make me feel sick, and meat does that to me every time. plus, i don’t really trust airplane food sometimes lmao. i’m definitely gonna do that next time i’m on a long flight!
Why didn’t this have more views!!!! I love long haul flights and this video captures the joy of it perfectly💕
I FREAKING LOVE 10TH KINGDOM! Also, your tips were extremely helpful!
I am going to South Korea and i gave to sit in the airport for 7 hours and on the plane for 9 hours. But i love flying on the plane so it's okay. I'm so exited to go korea !!
This is a great video!
My flying style is a little different (aisle seat for me please and I secretly like a little turbulence haha) but I think this can be super helpful for anybody who is nervous about a long haul flight ❤️
I recently flew return to Mexico City via LAX from Brisbane (Straayyyyaaaaa) and got hit with a migraine mid-flight which was a horrific experience at the time but two weeks later and I am watching this itching to get on a plane!!
I'm flying from the us to Africa in 3 days and so these are some great tips! i have 2 layovers and 3 total flights, but all together it's almost 19 hours of flying and over 22 hours of traveling! super exited :)
Oooh thank you for this video, Cari!
omg give tokyo my loooove!!!
i completely agree with the vegetarian options on flights! i got the chicken to europe (from North America) and it was honestly really bad, and on the way back (same airline) i got the vegetarian which was SO much better!
What a beautiful calm person you are. X
I literally binge watched all of your videos...
This was great! Going on a super long flight from Germany to Auckland and have a ~18h layover in Guangzhou in April. It's the first time I'll travel alone and then it's immediately such a long travel. I'm ... just super anxious lol so this had so great tips on calming down n stuff!
Omg 18 hours?!!! Definitely check what you can do in the airport 😩. (Do you need a visa to be in china that long?) have a safe flight!!!
