In the Eyes of Modern Railroading, we always have shenangians with tie-downs, doubling up trains or questionable practices. Here is a visual and satrical recreation of a situation on the NS Pittsburgh Line when a train was to tie down on the side of a mountain.

A Conway crew was tied down at South Fork recently and the crew van driver called off. They didnt have a plan and they sat for like 5 hours till they sent the TRAINMASTER to get them from Conway

Pittsburgh line in general is a fuckin clown show. down on the mon-sub they dispatched two mill trains(what I call the local that serves the URR interchange by Braddock) one of which was switching the yard, and another was pulling in and stopped in the middle of a busy road crossing into a mega shopping complex for probably a few hours or so..
Heck tonnage is so tough that a few trains stall on the bridges along the line too!
