At 1:45 you name the “Conscious Rant” as another tool for processing anger. I like it. It lines up very nicely with Nonviolent Communication (NVC)/Marshall Rosenberg’s concept of the jackal. An animal archetype that expresses all raw animal hate/rage/vitriol vs the Giraffe archetype which apparently has one of the biggest hearts in animal kingdom and a high wide angle view of life being so tall. Miki Kashtan is also a huge NVC thought leader with some great things to say on the need to express anger and the jackal archetype.
Hey John. Good to see you again. This video is a really rich message and I could react to many things in many ways. Here's one thing that stands out: The concept of titration etc. is very important and I want to keep it in mind as a tool, but mostly to better respect others. It's not my way. I'll say it with a metaphor: I am standing somewhere close to the middle of hardcore hell and the shadows keep eating me alive, like they do. There are some messages from other realms but they mostly say things like: "Don't be so sensitive." or "You need to take baby steps." I feel lonely when hearing them. I have already tried both. Not feeling is a lot like not existing, so that's kind of tricky to achieve. And as for baby steps, babies get eaten in hell, again and again and again. Fortunately, there's at least one other way of dealing with stubborn situations. I call it "reverse entropy" or simply "magic". It's not as pretty and well-behaved as "titration" but it works. Hot animal anger is actually awesome magic material, although definitely not the only kind of material out there. Have you done any work on cold anger, like hatred and envy? I'd like to watch it / read it / hear it. What's your take? Let's cut deeper. But only if you're game. From hell with love :-)
