wolfpupgamer 101 I think the fact that you’ve been feeling drawn at all is a sign that someone is calling you within itself. Do some more research and maybe look into some guided meditations to find your god or goddess. (There are quite a few on CZcams) Maybe try working with Loki and Artemis in your spell work for a short time and notice if you have more success with them, or maybe sit down with your preferred method of divination (tarot, pendulum, crystal gazing, flame reading) and ask these deities some questions. I've seen many squirrels lately. I don't know if that's a sign of any specific god or goddess. But it definitely seemed different from any other time. It FELT like it meant something.

YES! Just be careful with both Aphrodite and Persephone because I’ve also heard they don’t really play nice together and normally they’re looking to prove that one is better than the other. Just be careful!

I’ve been drawn to Dionysus lately and when you spoke about animals I instantly thought of snakes and how I’ve always loved snakes and then I found out one of Dionysus animals are snakes and i think this might be a sign !

@@absolutetrash7020 I wouldnt take it as a sign ONLY because most social media has built a very optimized algorithm so if you mention snake anywhere, you're very likely do start getting recommendations, and evens ads for it. The most important signs are generally in the world around you I believe

I'm a beginner witch and the whole deity thing is really weird an over whelming. I've only just gotten into witchcraft. I really like crystals and candles and that sort of stuff but I don't know what that means. I also had a dream the night before I went onto a trip of a woman holding a blanket telling me not to forget it. I'm very confused.
Don't worry about the deity thing if it's not right for you. You can always change your mind later or experiment when you're feelin' it. You don't need to be pagan - or even particularly "spiritual" - to be a witch. :)

@@jillianphillips344 ok so being an ex-Christian myself I can say that you most definitely can't worship another deity other than the Christian god. Now I can't speak for God but I don't think he would appreciate you working with other deities because you will have an altar and stuff
@@jillianphillips344 hey so im also super new to this so i did some research and supposedly there is something called 'Dualism' ( defined by wikipedia : Dualism is the moral or spiritual belief that two fundamental concepts exist, which often oppose each other. It is an umbrella term that covers a diversity of views from various religions, including both traditional religions and scriptural religions.
) so basically you can do it. i believe that you dont have to strictly follow every single rule in the book and that religion is kind of a flexible thing? i think that wicca isnt religion either, i think i heard that its a practice to help your spiritual self. but dont take everything here for certain since im also new.

Same. I am strictly agnostic so I believe there's definitely a chance that I'm talking to air, but then again how can we know? Until I get a solid evidence based answer, I believe that I'm connecting with myself and my capabilities because all people can embody the gods in their lives

If you want to join a coven with guidance and rules, that's a different story. But if you're walking this path alone, get used to trusting YOUR gut about what you are and aren't ready for. I'm late but i'm what tiktokkers consider a "baby witch" but i've been hellenic polytheistic for years now. them gate keeping the Gods for "experienced witches" is pure elitism. I'm gonna try and work with Aphrodite because i feel really connected to her. i personally don't believe (contrary to tiktok witches) that a God has to reach out to you. if you pray and show dedication to a specific God you will catch their attention since you're doing stuff they like. deity work requires a lot of dedication yes but it certainly isn't exclusively for "experienced witches"

@@reginaangulo4642 I wouldn't say *any* because some pantheons and traditions are closed. Without ancestry to them, or the guidance of someone within that tradition, those deities are inaccessible.

Ahhhh I'm so excited I just cast a circle and asked only Hestia Artemis and Aphrodite into my circle using a pendulum to call them all and Aphrodite and Artemis seem to be my patron goddesses!!!! They are both so lovely and send me signs I'm so excited to work with them

For animals, i've always been drawn to cats and i've found even strange cats or cats i've just met come to me freely. I'm beginning to think Freya keeps trying to connect with me.
When I first began to delve into witchcraft I wound up in a Wicca group taught by a lifelong witch and while Wicca isn't something that has taken hold I love the idea of the craft, always have. The group even associated cats with me and my mum. I was told that they saw/sensed a cat walking around the group during a meditation coming from me and around that time I was walking through town and a seed/leaf with seeds attached came out of nowhere and landed in my hand out of nowhere. It wasn't even windy. I wish i'd kept it tbh but I did a ton of research and discovered it came from a Linden (Lime) Tree. I wasn't anywhere near any trees at the time either.
After a ton of research into Linden trees I discovered that in German mythology they're tied to Freya, the Norse god of love and war. Her name has popped up a few times while doing research into other topics and after caving and doing more research on her i've found out cats are heavily tied to her as well. She has a carriage that's pulled by two cats. Depending on which version of the mythology you read, one is black and the other gray. I've also heard something about the cats being blue or something?
A few months ago out of nowhere while heading to my bus stop I nearly step on something but something stops me and intuitively I look down to discover i'd very nearly stepped on a little plastic figure of a black cat. I kept it and named it Jasper, which has sat on my alter since I set it up.
Last time I began to research her and found out about the cats, a few things happened one after the other in a space of 30 seconds or less that really solidified my suspicions about her contacting me. It started with a meditation for spirit guides and i kept seeing various cats,which is then when I began googling Freya again, found out she's tied to cats and immediately I get a notification on my phone about a manga I read getting updated, the manga is heavily based around cats. Then the next thing I did was go to Facebook and the first thing I saw on there was somebody talking about cats.
Nothing has happened since, so i'd love to know if this is her reaching out and if so, what can I do about it? I've heard Freya is a tricky one to work with and can be super demanding which I don't know if I want to go into just yet as i'm really on the beginning of my witchcraft journey. I wouldn't want to mess up or offend her by doing things wrong or not at all.
i also connect with cats ^^ yet i feel a much stronger connection with bastet because i feel so in touch with femininity and things of the sort. freya is definitely trying to contact you

Aphrodite's name has been popping in my head for the past 3 days, and 3 is my lucky number, in those past 3 days I have been really attracted to flowers and roses, and all of my happiest memories are memories of my past love with people and happy relationships, I really feel drawn to her

Luckily you don't need any stuff! Magik comes from you, just like it can come from sacred herbs, objects, crystals, energies... YOU are a magikal being. If you want to do the deity thing, journaling is a great place to start. You can dedicate a google doc or a physical journal to letters to deities you're interested in working with, and just speak openly. Try reading the entries aloud when you're done. Can be a really powerful experience!

I have feel drawn to manily goddesses and some gods. Like I feel connected with Aphrodite, Apollo, Hermes, Dionysus, Freyjia, Hades, Persephone, and Toth.
I resonate with these gods and goddesses as well plus Athena, Hekate, and Artemis
I have always been drawn to and I’m pretty sure I’ve been called by Dionysus, I mean my parents literally named me after him haha I’m pretty sure they were up to something. I also feel Hekate, Persephone, Ariadne and Okeanos as well but none of them as much as Dionysus.

I've been a witch for a few months, probably since the start of the year. I feel drawn towards Apollo, and have attempted to work with him a few times. The reasons I feel drawn to him because he's the god of music, plague, healing and animals. I've always had a way with animals, love to play music and sing, and my grandmother is a surgical nurse. My grandmother has always looked after me, and some of my most fond memories with her are at the beach in the sun. This is what confused me however, as water seems to be a big part of my life. I'm just confused, and trying to figure out which God or Goddess I feel most drawn to. It's mostly Greek deities, because honestly they've always been of interest for me.
I know I’m VERY late, but as a baby witch, this sounds exactly like me and I may try to connect with him!
I know this is a year later but Apollo was born on an island, and dolphins are one of his sacred animals iirc, so he does have that water connection. There's also a myth where he and Poseidon teamed up to, uh, try to overthrow Zeus, I think? So there's that connection to water too
i really want to start witchcraft and i dunno how, but i've always felt connected with Artemis and Aphrodite. Especially Artemis
I considered myself atheist/ agnostic until I started studying witchcraft more and learning about aphrodites connections that I relate to, a couple weeks later I am feeling myself draw to apollo as well and making those connections more. I've been so much happier

I’ve been needing a change in my life lately. I’ve dyed my hair bright red, but even though it’s a nice start, I still don’t think that’s enough. The other day, my dad gave me some roses, just out of the blue. It was my mom’s birthday, no where near mine, Valentine’s Day has come and gone as well.
Maybe the change I need is to look to Aphrodite for some self love? I can’t help but wonder if this is a sign from Her?

I was into witchcraft 4 years ago during lockdown but unfortunately I was too mentally and spiritually drained to work with a deity or work at all.
I haven't really associated myself with any witchcraft since then and I suddenly started getting weird signs in real life plus once during a night shift I received tiktoks about Hecate and a certain male energy reaching out to me and giving out signs (according to them I figured out it was Loki). I've already informed them that I lead a busy life but I'll try to offer them my time and energy from time to time and I've promised that I'll continue fighting to be one of their toughest warriors if they guide me and help me in situations when I need them. I've found out that they secretly have always been with me, I was just not aware of it. I'm still trying to figure out why they chose ME knowing I've left witchcraft behind and focus on myself and my future.
They seem to be welcoming enough. I guess I really do need to balance both feminine and masculine energy in my life because due to me being a trans guy I get dysphoric from my feminine energy.
I feel really connected to the number 3, colour light olive, animal cat and small birds, i am crazily drawn to meaningful slow music, I feel happiest with people/animals I love or when I hear music, hm well I often find money on the ground when I’m walking (in large amounts) and often Ill have a song stuck in my head and ill hear someone else sing it. Idk what deity it could be

I totally get you. Honestly my love for animals and passionate environmentalism are what led me to spirituality.
I guess it depends on what you want to do from this self knowledge. Are you looking for a specific deity to work with? A specific type of witchcraft to learn? A spiritual path?
There are a lot of options, so I would explore what natural environments speak to you most. Tropics, the ocean, forests, the arctic, deserts, tundras. If you feel attached to all equally, there are gods like Gaia and paths like Druidry that might speak to you.

This is so profound and deep. I loved your way of investigating things and delving into all the different ways that you could discover a natural connection to a deity! I am a Left Hand path softly-Atheistic witch (who hopes that spirits and deities do have some level of reality to them!), and I struggle with how to process wanting to work with something I don't feel necessarily justified in believing in. I left Christianity and kicked it on the way out, and I am FIERCELY adversarial to it and all oppressive and manipulative forms of religion, but I feel a strong sense of some of the spirits/gods/demons/angels of spirituality. It's as if they come forward into my mind and heart in sudden 3-D, and I get a very specific vibe and personality from certain individuals. I hate feeling torn between doubting the existence of deities (beyond my own imagination) and wondering if I'm being stupid. But I get so bummed out and sad when I feel when I stop engaging and trying to connect with them. Any advice??

I feel like i've been connected with Nyx. I think the signs are I like villain genre music, I feel like a bad bitch, I like number 8 and 12 (everytime i always see 12:12 at my clock). My favorite colors are violet and black and I love silhouettes,shadows, being in the dark, I'm an ambivert and my nickname in school is Nyx.

I just found my matron last night and I'm looking for my patron. I know that I don't have to find both but I've felt very connected to Loki. I don't know what I should do. I've tried to connect with him through meditation and things but deep down I don't think I'm ready. I'm nervous to talk to him and if it's really him that I'm trying to contact. My matron came to me in a dream last night and told me to take my time and enjoy what I have. The thing is I cant really take my time because the realisations about how Loki may have been sending me signs are running through my head.
I was doing a tarot card video and the pile I chose had connections to wisdom, fire and a dark purple colour. Also it had some link to spiders as well as knowledge and had a feminine energy. I feel more drawn to Greek gods and I feel like this is athena. Plus I've been getting caught in cobwebs a lot recently and seen lots of spiders, idkkk

I have always be obsessed with foxes and axolotls so I looked into the gods who have a connection with then, with Axolotls are named after and ancient Aztec god by the name Xolotl. Foxes have so many gods and goddesses that it’s really confusing, so I’ll look into them more

I’ve been working with Freyja for a couple months now, and as of yesterday I’ve started working with Artemis.
I’ve always been drawn to the Greek pantheon and I’ve done what I can to learn about them since I was really young. I pretty easily picked a favorite out of the gods. I always felt connected to Apollo. I’ve always expressed myself through musical and written mediums. I’ve been writing short songs and poems since I knew how to. I’ve always been in tune with the sun and daytime. Nothing has ever beaten a nice warm spring or summer day where I can go outside with the blooming flowers and y’all trees and lay in the sun.
Anyways, to get to the point, I compiled lists of some of my favorite things, numbers I felt in tune with, and a lot more. I found that most of them were either connected to Apollo or to one of the gods closely related to him. I finally made the decision to try and contact the gods, specifically Apollo, today and see if they were willing to reach out to me. I asked generally about some gods who i had similarities to, including Apollo, but either got no response or a negative response when u asked if they wanted to speak with me. Then I specifically asked Apollo. He answered positively and seemed that he was willing to help guide me through my witchcraft. I was ecstatic to say the least. Thanks for the video!

About a year ago when I first began practicing and learning about witchcraft and spirituality I had done a guided meditation on meeting your spirit guides / higher powers etc. and the name Persephone randomly came to mind. I had done some research and made a small offering as well as saw some signs but eventually lost interest because it didn’t feel like the right time. It’s peaked my interest again and I completely forgot that I had watched this video then!

Love the video! I’ve always loved Artemis and Dionysus’ stories, and I’ve been really trying to connect with them.
But I’ve also been attracted to Norse and Celtic mythology. I think I’ve found a god in each of those pantheons (Frigg and Dagda), but I don’t know if that’s just me projecting or an actual pull.
Either way I love what every pantheon represents and I can’t wait to learn more!

i need help, so all of a sudden i love everything that is associated with flowers and sometimes smell a really sweet smell and when i ask what it is everyones like "what are you talking about i dont smell anything" . Also ive been kind of drawn to hades, aphrodite and dionysus lately. i think that dionysus is associated with snakes (my favorite animals) and a lot of dionysus videos keep poping up in the past two days. i really need help im 13 and trying to slowly get into witchcraft but theres a lot of things to research someone helpp
edit: stink bugs! i know weird but i see them all the time, i see them in spring, summer, autumn and winter. even my classmates noticed that they are always around me and when they see one near me they just HAVE to point it out
Maybe try freyja? Put out into the universe that youre looking for a deity and the right one or ones will give you signs just be open to receiving them.
Those bugs were EVERYWHERE in my old home! They terrified me to no end, and yet, seeing them now just feels nostalgic

So I feel like it might be Poseiden calling for me. For my whole life I’ve always loved the water. Since I was five I loved going to a water park with my dad every summer, I’m 14 now and still doing it. I always loved going it the oceans and adored the ocean life and animals. I always loved the water. Then there is my zodiac sign, Aquarius, aqua means water, and it’s a water bearer. Though it is an air sign. But then I have my lucky number, 11, and 11 is a number that corresponds to poseiden. K is the first letter of my first and last name, and it’s the 11th letter of the alphabet, if I find a dime, I find a penny with it, and vice verse. My birthday is on the 11, my life oath number is almost 11 but becomes a 2, 2+1+1+2+5 becomes 11, but then it’s 1+1=2. But that life path water does go with the element of water. Then I feel as if my personality is somewhat like his, I feel competitive and want things my way, the only thing is I can hold in my anger more easily then he can. But yeah, and I know you all aren’t telling me the complete answer, and that I should only listen to you, but this is why I think poesiden is calling for me, and I’m wondering if others think so too
Ugh I'm so sorry to be replying to this months later, but I'd love an update!! I honestly think that if your vibe is the sea and water elemental energy is your calling, then dive in (pun intended)
Sarai Ora hi! It’s totally ok! So actually I have contacted him and he says it was him! Though actually I’m a bit suspicious, because when I was in elementary I was so (and still am) into paranormal and ghost stuff, inviting them to talk and all sorts of stuff. So when I first talked to Poseidon, now that I look back onto it, I think it was just a spirit out to steal my energy, now I’m struggling to keep his (and Apollo’s) candles protected from unwanted beings, I did a spell recently, and made singular though and have yet to see the candles again though. But from then and to now, I have taken on Poseidon and Apollo, and Nyx and Hecate from when I’m more mature and know WAY more about pagan stuff, for right now, I feel I am very unfit to take on and offer and work with 4 deities.
But that’s not the main thing anymore. I have now found Poseidon was calling for me, so I have that! But with witchtok and such, my confidence in who I am talking to is actually them has gone to rock bottom. I don’t know if I can trust that the candles are the actually deities, I can’t trust what the pendulum is saying about them and if they are talking through it, I can’t trust signs from them, talking to them, candle flames from them, I Havnt been able to trust at all any forms of communication with my deities and guides, my tarot deck is my most trusted out of them all, yet I’m still iffy on them too, I did a read on how I can become more confident though, and it said I should work more on being a pagan/witch and see where I go with it, but if you have any tips on gaining confidence in who you are speaking to or who is communicating is actually them, or on protection of communication tools, I would love to hear them ^^
late answer but have the same connection to the number 11 as you, as well as my connection with the sea (i'm from the Mediterranean). I just started to connect with Amphitrite, original goddess of the sea whose name is little known. Just thought I'd share in case it talks to you.
In my life so far I’ve gotten 3 tarot card readings regarding my future and every time a card was chosen for my soulmate it was the god of the sun. Apollo, Ra, and I believe Napioa? (I was really young when I received my first reading.) But the odds of those readings always spooked yet intrigued me, and on my walks home from school I would look at the sky and thank Apollo for the light. I felt like I was being observed. Today I’m a professional artist and I still feel really connected to the artistic side of the Greek sun. I never considered other people felt the same energy, but it’s great to see there’s a community to this and I’m not crazy lol. I hope I can learn more about this 🙏

Um I've been having weirdnesses, like I kind of have predictions that just come along me which seems like Apollo but they normally deal with love, gender or illnesses which are Artemis and Aphrodites areas I think they're reaching out to me

Hi! I'm a baby witch and I am very drawn to dieties, astral projection, and tarot and readings. I have done a lot of research but I am only 13. I feel ready in a spiritual sense though. I really want to work with a diety but I won't be able to set up an altar for them and my offerings probably won't be amazing. Can I still try to work with a diety? I feel really drawn to them. I drum my hands in the table ALOT, like if I'm doing something, I'm making a beat somewhere with my body, and when you said to drum your hands on the table and make music a became aware that i was drumming out the amen break with my feet... Not sure what that means in regards to spirituality but it just kinda happened

I connect the best with Apollo and Dionysus. They represent things in my life that are extremely important to me. I look at them and I see what I want and love most in life. What makes me happy, my passions, the mindset I’m working towards. One of the things that stuck with me for days after I read it was that Dionysus is the protector of misfits. Since he was considered one himself by the other gods. It resonates with me so much and I love the beauty that Dionysus Apollo represents. I want what they are in my life.

Ever since elementary (roughly 15 years ago) I would always use Aphrodite when talking about goddesses and gods. I didn’t even know her mythos or much about her at the time, she would just always be on my mind. I’ve taken that as a sign to make her my patron goddess. I look forward to exploring more deities in my practice, thanks for a great start!
